The Last Wolf Standing

Chapter One

        "Who are you?" This idiot asked for the fifth time.

        "You must be deaf, I told you already that my name is Madison, it's not that hard of a name. Do you want me to spell it out for you?" I spat sarcastically.

    After we had been cornered by the eight wolves we were forced to shift back in front of them. When we shift, we don't have on clothes since they are shredded when we change into our wolf forms, so we were stark naked in front of the wolves. We were escorted to some sort of cabin by these wolves. Half of them left us to shift back into their human forms and the other half were left to watch us. I was very uncomfortable. When the first four came back, they brought clothes for us so Lily and I quickly put them on. Of the wolves that shifted back, one of them was a girl and the others were boys. The girl was short with cropped black hair, full green eyes and slim.

    The males were a lot taller than her but one was shorter than the rest. The shortest was actually good-looking with his dirty blond hair, hazel eyes and muscular build. The other two looked like twins, their hair was falling the same way but one had light brown hair and the other had black. Both were muscular, very tall and handsome. The one with the black hair had brown eyes and the other had blue.

    The twins brought Lily and I into the cabin and pushed us into chairs and tied us to them. It was tight and it hurt but that didn't stop me from being rude. They had no right kidnapping us, well we were in their territory but kidnapping is still wrong. After we were tied to the chairs, a very muscular man walked into the room and smirked at us in a threatening manner. I grimaced when I saw him, he was a very scary looking man even though he was attractive.

        "This one has a smart mouth." The man laughed but it sounded more evil than happy.

        "And you're still an idiot." I sighed and rolled my eyes at him.

        "Maddie, this is not the time for your shenanigans." Lily whispered.

        "Who says 'shenanigans' anymore?" I said to her. I looked over at her and I could see the terror in her face, she was really scared of these people. Lily's black, curly hair was shoulder length and her lips were full but they suited her. I looked back at the interrogator.

        "Any more questions there big guy?" I taunted him.

    My head snapped to the right and it shocked me. He just hit me. That mongrel hit me.

        "Aaron, you didn't need to hit her." The girl that had shifted back said.

        "Shut up before you meet the same fate." Oh so his name was Aaron. The girl shut up and stepped back. After a couple seconds she left the room and I used my wolf hearing detected something large running away so I presumed she shifted and left.

        "Why are you here?" Aaron asked me. Although he hit me it didn't make me any more submissive, my parents taught me to be strong so I will show no fear.

        "I just moved here a couple days ago from my old town. I wanted a fresh start. Is that the answer you are looking for or do you need my whole life's story?" I retorted in a strong voice.

     He ignored me and turned his gaze onto Lily who squirmed uncomfortably in her chair. "What about you, beautiful?"

    Did he just?

        "Maddie and I are best friends so we moved here together and live in the same apartment just outside the woods." She said quickly then closed her eyes.
