She was back in King Romanov's castle.

Everyone felt the shift in the air the moment she joined them once again yet no one knew what had happened.

Alpha Eris went directly in the King's bedroom, she arrived past midnight so she knew that he would most likely be asleep but she needed to have this conversation with him at that moment, not later.

She mind linked Calysta when she arrived, telling her to wait for them in front of his study while she goes to get him.

Alpha Eris didn't even bother knocking, she knew he was asleep now because she heard his light breathing and his heart beat slower than usual.
She entered his room, looking around, it was beautiful, with a king sized bed sat right in the middle of it, it was an interesting concept, she's never seen a room quite like that, the walls seemed to be painted by someone close to the King because of the uneven strokes in the wall, even the ceiling had a few clouds painted on it seemed like a child painted everything in the room and gave it a touch of innocence which the King most definitely lacked.

She made her way to his bed but when she was close enough, the King suddenly stood up and was about to lunge at her, before he could, she looked directly into his eyes, making him come back to reality before he did something he would regret.

The moment King Romanov realized who was in his room, he spoke "Alpha Eris, what a pleasant surprise, we've been waiting for you to make an appearance for quite some time now." He said in a mocking tone, she didn't like that.

Eris understood the King must be angered by her actions but that didn't give him any right to disrespect her, after all she was a powerful Alpha and no matter the gender, Alpha's hate disrespect, she was no different in this sense.

She raised her hand and struck so fast he didn't even see it.

While being slapped by her, Romanov did feel his aura come out but what called for his attention were the changes in her appearance.

She still looked rough but the air around her was considerably lighter which came to him as a surprise.

Beta Calysta did not want to disobey her Alpha's orders but she has been stuck in the palace with the King for two weeks now and she knew how vexed he was and she didn't want him to do something he'd regret later so she decided to follow her Alpha's scent which led her to King Romanov's quarters which didn't surprise her, it was quite late and most of the people were already in their rooms, sleeping.

The scene in front of her was quite comical, the King holding his cheek while staring daggers at Alpha Eris who was seated on a chair next to his bed, had it not been for the deadly aura the King was emitting she would've laughed but the situation at hand didn't seem like it needed any more anger or disrespect.

She didn't understand what happened but she had a hunch, it seemed like King Romanov somehow irritated Alpha Eris which was quite surprising seeing as her Alpha usually doesn't react to anything really.

"Alpha Eris, King Romanov." Said Calysta while bowing, usually, werewolves are supposed to greet the King first then any other companion of his but this situation was different, Eris was Calysta's Alpha and she saved her life so many times she wouldn't dare to call out any other name besides hers.

Aggravated, Romanov ran a hand through his hair before going in his closet to dress up, saying plenty colorful words under his breath directed at the current occurrence.

He was to put it lightly exasperated, since the last time Alpha Eris was around, she caused chaos and he wasn't exited to find out what she brought this time with her.
