Chapter 2

"I got green pants and I cannot lie!

Said hey hey hey goodbye!

My coconut told me how to fly!

Singing silly songs soothes Sarah's sad side!"

I burst out laughing while Hunter continued jamming to "One Big Family" by Christina Grimmie and Sarah Happlesful in his car with the volume making it vibrate. Our voices were loud and screechy, although I made it sound horrible just for fun. People passing by the car wer giving us weird looks, but we didn't give a damn! I loved how Hunter was directly able to take my mind off the performance and made me have fun just being with him.

"You and me, we're like one big family!

So come and see, so we can climb the tallest tree!"

I joined in with the singing as soon as I was able to control my laughter that made me feel abs forming. That song seriously had the most random lyrics ever, and singing it with an awesome person made it even funnier! (A/N: Check the song out on the side!)

"Stop panicking! Everything will be fine!" Hunter reassured me for the hundredth time in these ten minutes, but my stubborn mind refused to believe him. As soon as we reached the mall and we stepped out of the car, the nerves came back. This was my first performance in front of a huge crowd, and I couldn't help but feel very nervous! Yes, I've sang in front of my friends and classmates sometimes, but that just didn't count. I was starting to get second thoughts of just running away and hiding in a hole full of rabbits!

"How can I relax when Casey and Lance aren't here yet? They promised to meet us here! I can't perform without them here!" I started freaking out, gaining unwanted attention from random strangers passing by. Okay, so I was overreacting, but I couldn't help it! I met dad and Sarah here as soon as we entered the mall, but my best friends were still nowhere to be seen!

"Don't worry. They'll be here any second now." As if on cue, Casey and Lance hurried towards us pushing their way through the crowded place and smashed me in a hug, forcing all of the air out of me and making me cough profusely. They got the message and quickly let go.

"Sorry we're late, but we got caught up in the traffic. Most of the people were wearing these customized shirts that you sell online. You sure have many dedicated fans!" Casey babbled really fast, that I could barely make out a word that she said. I just nodded, only catching a few of the words that flew out of her mouth.

I looked around, checking the place. I specifically chose this mall because it was huge, and it fit many people. but even with its enourmous space, it was still crowded. Excited murmurs spread throughout the whole place as people looked at me, smiling and waving. I have already signed a couple of pictures and talked to a few fans who helped keep my mind off the nervousness, but now, I knew that the time had come.

"Seven more minutes till Hailey Greene performs to you. Seven more minutes." Some bald guy said from the set-up stage with his monotone voice showing how bored and uninterested in the show he was. That made me cheer up! Note my sarcasm.

I turned to Hunter and wrapped my arms around his neck while he placed his hand on my waist.

"You'll do great" he whispered and then leaned in to kiss me. I smiled as his lips touched mine and I wrapped my arms around his neck, pressing his body impossibly closer to mine. He traced his tongue along my bottom lip, asking for entrance, which I happily granted him. Our tongues molded together and I moaned quietly at the sensation bringing my hand to his cheek. I didn't care that people were watching. Hell,  I didn't even care that my dad is watching! I was sure I looked like a whore right now, but that's who I was in public, right? Let's make something clear: I was NOT who I seemed to be!

"Hailey, is that you?"  I hesitantly pulled back from the kiss to look at the owner of the familiar voice. Sure enough, I looked straight to two blue eyes that I haven't seen for over two years. I visibly gulped. Oh crap...
