THE MISSING STARK

NEW YORK UNDER ATTACK

MINERVA'lS P.O.V 

I woke up and didn't feel really good.  Pepper told me that I had a fever and Tony called a doctor. 

"She just has a cold. She must rest and she will be fine" the doctor said. 

"See? I told you I was okay." I said trying to get up. Tony pushed me back  to  bed. 

"You are staying here today. Tomorrow you can do what ever you want. But today you are staying here. Pepper stay with her. Doc, I'll walk you to the door." Tony said. Pepper stayed with me and made me confortable.  She started playing with my hair and I fell asleep. 

I woke up alone in my room. I felt so much better. I took a shower and then went to the living room where Pepper was in Tony's computer. 

"Where is Tony?" I asked. 

"Is she up?" I heard a voice. 

"Yes, just in time." Pepper said smiling. 

"Time for what?" I asked as I walked to the computer. 

"Well, Stark Tower is about to become a beacon of self-sustaining clean energy" Tony said. "Light her up" Tony said. 

"How does it look?" Pepper asked. 

"Like Christmas, but with more me." Tony said and I rolled my eyes and went to sit on the couch. Pepper started talking about some press and talking about buildings. Then JARVIS said something about an agent on the phone. Tony didn't want to see him. I was on my phone and I heard that Tony told Jarvis to grow a spine that he had company. I was on the phone, while Tony and Pepper started arguing about some percetages and got a glass of champagne. 

"I'm going back to rest guys!" I said as I went back to my room. Then I heard some agent coming to the room and I decided to close the door. I was in my room, when I heard Tony knocking on my door. 

"Hey princess, how are you feeling?" He asked as he sat on my bed. 

"I feel totally fine!" I said rolling my eyes. Tony can be so over protective, it was sometimes annoying.

"Pepper is going to D.C. want to go with her? I have some consulting work to do and I think you are going to be bored here." he said. 

"I have work and school tomorrow. I could go to my apartment, if you like. I have things to do there. " I said and started getting up. 

"I'll have Happy  take you" He said and kissed my forehead. I preper mysef and went to my apartment. Happy stayed a little and we watched some movie and had dinner. He then went home and I went to sleep. 

The next morning, I received a text from Tony saying that he had some Iron man business to do and was going to be out of the city for a while.  That if I needed anything, to ask Happy. I got myself ready and went to work and school, just like a normal day. I didn't see the hansome  stranger. Oh well....

The next day, something happened that would always be remembered in New York. I went to school. I had classes in the morning and I went to the café. I was working when all of a sudden we heard a blast in the Stark Tower.  What was going on? Maybe some experiment from Tony? Then I saw Tony fly to his tower. Well he was back.  I will ask him later. We then started working again. We then saw a light coming from the tower and something coming from there. People were starting to notice and then we saw explosions.We started running and we got inside the restaurant.  My phone rang. It was Tony. 

"I need you to leave downtown. NOW!!!" He screamed and hang up. 

"WE HAVE TO LEAVE THIS PLACE! NOW! " I screamed and everyone started to run. Were those aliens? I looked in shock. I don't think Iron Man can do this by himself. There were explosions and I started  runnning. I was in shock, looking at everything. When an alien took me to a bank with more people. Then I steped on some glasses and ash? Oh no! They were going to kill us. Then there were some noise and fighting upstairs.  

"CLEAR OUT!" We heard a scream and I went to see if they could open the door. We opened and police man helped us. Then I saw him. He ws dirty and hurt but I knew who he was. He was my neighbor. My foot hurt and I was limping. Then I heard a zoom and I felt myself being lifted from the ground. It was Iron Man. He flew me to the top of my apartment building. 

"I have to go! Please stay here" He said.

"I want a cheese burger." I said. 

"What?" he asked confused as his eyes looked the city.

"I want a cheese burger. So promise me that you will be safe and you are going to bring me a cheese burger" I said as tears fall from my eyes. His helmet went down and he smiled at me. 

"I promise I will bring you a cheese burger" He said and kissed my head. Then he flew away. 

I then went to my apartment and saw that my house phone had a lot of miss calls from my dad. I called him and he asked me if I was okay. I told him about what was going on and then he told me something that changed my life forever. He was watching the news and that he thought that I should know something, just in case Tony didn't make it. 

"No dad! He has to come back to me. He promise me a cheese burger and he never brakes a promise to me" I said as I started crying. 

"Sweety he is a hero. You have to be preper for this. This is something serious. And you should know something about him and you. I love you so much.. never forget that but, you are adopted as a baby. You are a Stark and Tony is your brother. I'm sorry we kept this for so long, but Tony and I were scare to loose you. Please forgive us" Dad said crying. 

I cried and then I started praying  for Tony. He has to know that I love him. Even before knowing we shared the same  blood, I have always seen him as my brother and I was s proud of him. 

"Is okay dad. You will be always be my dad. I love you" I said and I heard a beep. It was Tony. 

"Tony?"I askedas I turn the t.v. on. was it over?

"Hey princess. I think I'm going to brake a promise" He said. 

"What are you doing Tony? " I asked as I saw Tony flying to the worm hole. 

"I'm saving your world, sweety" He said. 

"But you promise!" I said falling to the floor. 

"I know.I know, I know. But there is something you should know first." He said. 

"Y-yes. I know, My dad told me. I'm your sister, Antonella." I said.

"Yes. My baby sister. I love you. Always remember that-" his voice started breaking. He was loosing signal. 

"Tony? Tony!" I screamead and I started crying. "I love you Tony!" I said to him in the phone. The news started showing some images of the city, the army and the aliens falling. He saved us. He was a hero. I cried more and more. I don't know how long I stayed sitting in the floor with my knees close to my chest and my head between my knees but then there was a knock on the door. I lifted my head and saw that the room was already dark. Maybe it was night time already.

I got up and started walking slowly to the door. I opened and then saw Tony with a bag in his hand. 

"You know, the cheese burger place was close but I brought you shawarma" He smirk and I jumped in his arms and wrapped my legs on him, not wanting to let go. He let me down and I started crying some more. We were in my kitchen.

"You can't do this to me.  You are my only brother, so you have to be safe at all times!" I said and pushed him a little. His smile grew when he heard me call him brother. He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tight. I had my head on his chest hearing his arc reactor.

"I'm sorry sis, but you have to get used to this. I'm in this thing they call The Avengers" He said smirking.
