MINERVA'S P.O.V

The next day, I felt someone kissing my head and whispering my name. I woke up and saw Tony sound sleep. He was under a lot of medication due to his malnutrition.

"Love, the team and I have to do something. Please be safe. I will be back as soon as posible." I heard Steve whisper to me.

I was fully awake and took his hand and took him out of the room.

"Steve, where are you going?" I asked.

" We are going to get the infinity stones back and bring everyone back." Steve said. I looked at him and then at Tony.

"You are going to be okay?" I asked finding the floor interesting. Not wanting to cry.

" I will try my best." He said as he made me look, placing his fingers under my chin and making me look up to his eyes.

"Please be safe soldier." I whispered. He lowered his head and touch my forehead with his.

"Always" he said. He gave me a kiss and then went out the door. I went back to Tony and stood with him. Pepper grab some coffee for us.

"Thanks" I said to Pepper. "Peps, how are you feeling? Much better?" I asked as she sat down.

"Yes, I am. You both are the only family I have. It would crush me If something happen to you both" Pepper said.

I went to hug her. She was family to me as well. I love her so much like a sister.

"How things with Steve?" Pepper ask. I looked at Tony making sure he was asleep. I don't know how he will handle tha fact that I went back to having a relationship with him. He was so over protective and well... Steve broke my heart once. 

"Actually, I'm so happy with him. I know this relationship with be hard, I mean, you must understand how hard is to be with someone that is always risking his life. But I love him and he loves me. He protects me and makes me really happy. Do you think that Tony would accept this relationship?" I asked Pepper. 

"Well... I don't know. I mean a few days ago you were engage to Nick. And Tony loved Nick!"She said rolling her eyes. 

"Well.... he loved the fact that he wasn't a superhero. He often told me that Nick was the security I needed in my life." I said looking down and feeling sad for Nick. He didn't deserve to be turned into dust. 

"Did he know about Steve?" Pepper asked. 

"Yeah... I went to tell him and give him the engagement ring back when he turned into... dust" I said. We heard someone moving and turned to see Tony moving in his bed. We got closer and he opened his eyes. 

"Hey you!!" I said touching his hand. He smiled at us and grab our hand. 

"Hey princess" He said. "Hey love" Tony told Pepper. We gave medicine to him and he rested. The next day, Tony was better. He was awake and stronger. Steve and the team came back. They told me that they couldn't get the infinity and Thanos was death. 

"So, that's it? We live our lives ?" I asked all of them. 

"I think we do. We have no other way"  Bruce said. I nodded my head and just walked out to see Tony. When I came to check on Tony, he smiled at me. 

"Good, you are here. Pepper, you and me are getting a little cabin outside the city. Something like Clint has with his family. What do you think? I know you lost Nick and I need to get out of here and stop with the avenging. I don't want to be a superhero anymore." Tony said. Pepper looked at me and I looked at Pepper. 

"Umm Tony.... I don't know how to say this..." I said looking at  Pepper for support. She smiled at me to go on. Tony looked at us. 

"Just spit it out!" Tony said looking at me and giving me the Stark stare. 

"I don't want to go away from the compound. Well.... not yet." I said taking a deep breath. 

"Go to the point, Minerva" He said. 

"Steve and I are back together. " I said quickly and felt a weight being lifted from my shoulders. 

"WHAT?!" Tony screamed getting up. 

"Tony, calm down" Pepper said. 

"What about Nick?!" Tony screamed walking like a mad lion. 

"I broke up with him before he turned into dust. I loved him but I wasn't in love with him. I have and always love Steve" I said. My eyes started to watered. I didn't like the look on Tony's face. 

"HE LEFT YOU ALONE!! HE LEFT AND BROKE YOUR HEART! DON'T YOU FUCKING REMEMBER?!" Tony screamed at me. He had a look that made me feel small. 

"But we love each other! He left me because he loved me and thought I deserved better, but I-." I said. 

" OF COURSE YOU DESERVE BETTER!! AND HE IS NOT THE BEST FOR YOU! MINERVA LISTEN TO ME. YOU WENT TO JAIL FOR HIM. YOU CRIED MANY DAYS, MONTHS! YOU WERE IN DEPRESSION! I swear to God, that was  the most horrible thing I've ever seen." Tony said looking down at the last part. 

"BUT HE IS BACK! AND WE TALKED AND HE LOVES ME AND I LOVE HIM! CAN YOU JUST GIVE HIM A BRAKE?! YOU GUYS WERE BEST FRIENDS!" I screamed at him. 

"YOU SAID IT YOURSELF, WE WERE FRIENDS. AFTER HE BROKE YOUR HEART AND PROTECTED MY PARENTS' KILLER. WE ARE NOT  IN FRIENDLY TERMS!" Tony screamed at my face.

"Tony... she is happy"Pepper said. 

"STAY OUT OF THIS PEPPER!" Tony said to Pepper. Wow he was mad! "BY THE WAY, HE IS OLDER TO BE YOUR GRANDPARENT!" Tony said with a look of disgust. I rolled my eyes and ran my hand through my curls. 

"Oh please Tony! You both know he doesn't look like a grandpa.Trust me! I KNOOOOW!" I said smirking. Making him get red. 

"HE FUCKED MY LITTLE SISTER!!?? I'M GOING TO KILL HIM!" He said walking out of the door. Pepper and I looked at each other and ran after him.  

We ran and saw Tony enter the common room , where Steve was reading a book. I saw how Steve looked up and got up. Maybe Tony had a killer look. 

"Tony?" He said before Tony punched his face. 

"TONY!!" Pepper and I screamed. Steve didn't do anything. He just grab his jaw. 

Tony grab him by his shirt. Steve look at me. 

"YOU. FUCK. MY. SISTER!?" Tony screamed at his face. Pepper and I took him off from Steve. 

"STOP IT TONY!" I said getting between them. "I'M NOT A LITTLE GIRL ANYMORE! I'M 26, I'M AN ADULT! I CAN MAKE MY OWN CHOICES AND I CHOOSE STEVE!" I said hugging Steve. Steve looked at me and then wrapped his overprotective arms around me. 

"Tony... I love Minerva. I'm truly sorry I hurted her before. But I thought I was doing the best for her. That's why I left her.  She didn't deserve to be a fugitive. I'm truly sorry... But I love her and I won't ever stop loving her. So, with or without your blessing, I will be her boyfriend. Her father already gave me permission, his blessing  is the only one I care about." Steve said.

Tony was calmer... He looked at Pepper, Steve and me. He then looked me directly at my eyes and said something that made my heart brake. 

"Well... since my opinion doesn't count as much as I thought in your life, I should be out of it. I'm going to be out of your life. Goodbye Minerva" Tony said walking away. 

"Oh God! Tony don't be so proud and dramatic!" I screamed at him. 

"Give him some time. He will come to his sences soon." Pepper said giving me a small hug and going after him. Steve hugged me and kissed my hair while I cried softly in his arms. 

Later that day I saw how Tony and Pepper left the compound with tears in my eyes and a broken heart. I will miss my big brother.
