WHAT IS GOING ON?

MINERVA'S P.O.V

I was in the park thinking of who I am supose to love. Nick was perfect for me. Tony adore him, he often told me that he was great for me. He was normal, and didn't risk his life, which means I won't be alone. Something that Tony is afraid of.

I was going to Nick's house and tell him that I choose him. He was good for me. I wanted him in my life. I was driving when I received a text. It was Steve, he Send me a messages. My heart starting beating fast and I parked the car.

"Minnie, I'm really sorry for all the trouble that I caused. You are right, I left you but trust me that was the hardest thing I had ever done. You had always been in my heart and mind in this past two years. Love, I don't know what is going on. But I can't go and fight knowing  that there could be a chance that we loose and I couldn't  see your eyes and kiss your lips. I don't want to go without you knowing how much I love you and I will always love you. I'm sorry I didn't say it outloud. I was  scare and I felt like I bretrayed Peggy. I'm sorry... Please be safe. I love you, doll" Steve wrote in his text.

My heart stopped. It felt like someone had stabbed my heart. I started crying. I wanted Nick in my life, but I noticed that I didn't want my life without Steve. I  stood there for almost an hour. I arrived to his home and knock on the door. His mother opened the door and hugged me.

"Whatever desition you made, I hope you will be happy." She said and I smiled at her. I went to Nick's room and knock on his door.

"You came back"he said as he looked at me. I then started crying some more. Everything was happening so fast. I looked at him and whispered the two words that broke his heart.

"I'm sorry" I said as I looked at his eyes.  He looked down and I just sat on his bed.

"I love you." I said with tears in my eyes.

"I know, but you are not in love with me" He said as he sat next to me holding my hand.

"It's okay. I understand. I just want you to be happy." He said and he looked at me.

"You know that my brother is missing and they told me that half of the World is in danger. I don't know how but you deserve to be with your family." I said and took off my engagement ring.

"You are a great women. I hope Captain America knows that and treats you good." He said with tears in his eyes.

"I hope so too" I said as I placed the ring in his palm, but suddenly the ring fell to the floor. I grabbed it and saw how Nick was turning into dust.

"NICK!!" I screamed. Then I heard some screaming downstairs and ran to it and saw how Nick's parents were turning into dust. What was going on?

My phone rang as I ran to my car. It was Pepper.

"MINERVA! WHERE ARE YOU? WHAT IS GOING ON? EVERYONE IS TURNING INTO DUST!" Pepper screamed.

"PEPPER! WHERE IS MY DAD?" I screamed.

"I'm here honey. Please come home!" I heard my father's voice.

"I'm coming! Please stay with Pepper."I said as I drove and saw how everyone was in chaos. I was driving when I saw Nick Fury's car. He and María Hill got out. And then they dissapear but Fury had something in his hand. It was some sort of Pager with a symbol. I grabbed it and took it with me.

I arrived and saw how agents were running. Some turning into dust. I ran and took the elevator. As soon as I went out, I was crushed into a hug by my dad and Pepper.
