MINERVA'S P.O.V 

I was on the floor. I just wanted for this to be over. I had a mix of emotions. Fear, anger and sadness. Fear because I was being turtore. Anger because of what they said, I mean I knew I was in a orphanage, but Tony didn't know about me. Right? He didn't leave me alone, he couldn't be so selfish to leave a little baby. To take a  baby away from having a family. I had a great father and mother, don't get me wrong but, they weren't my real family. 

I was hungry and weak. I think I had more than a week that they didn't give me food or water. They told me that I didn't deserve it since I wasn't being a good girl and didn't give them the code to enter and attack the Avengers compound. I was on the floor when all of a sudden I heard an explotion. I just closed my eyes and prayed that it was Tony.

I was so weak that I closed my eyes and prayed for the best. Then I saw the man that had been torturing me this few days. He came and pointed a gun to me, when all of a sudden he fell on the floor next to me. 

"I found her"I heard a voice. It was Natasha. "Hey, you have to help me. Okay? Get up, please" she said. 

I was shaking my head and tears started to fall from my eyes. 

"I can't." I whispered. Then I saw him, in his blue suit. He looked at me and then I saw how his eyes got a mix of sadness and anger in them. The last thing I remember was how he lift me like if I was a feather and his saying some soft words in my ear. 

STEVE P.O.V 

"HAVE SOMEONE SEEN HER YET?" Tony screamed as he fought some man. 

"I found her" we heard Natasha said . She was close to me. I hit some man and went to look for them, that is when I saw her there. So fragile, so weak and all bruised up. I wanted to cry. She looked so broken, which made me want to cry. She didn't ask to be in this world of heroes. She didn't deserve to suffer like this. I went and grab her. She looked like she haven't eat in a while. 

I took her in my arms like a baby.She had her head on my chest. 

"Is okay. We are here. You are save, please just don't give up on me. I love you" I softly said to her ear. What did I say? That came out of my mouth without thinking. Did I love her? We then went to the jet and I saw Tony land infront of me and ran to me. 

"Give her to me!" He said as he took her from me. I felt some emptyness in my arms, then I saw them walk in the jet. Natasha stood next to me and smirk at me. 

"Is okay, you can have her back later." She said as she smirk and then I rolled my eyes. We then went to the jet. 

MINERVA'S P.O.V 

I woke up to the sound of hospital machines. I was in a white room then I saw Tony sitting next to my bed, looking at something in his cellphone. 

"Tony?" I asked. He looked at me and then he smiled. He carefully grab my hand and then kissed it. 

"I'm so glad you are okay. How do you feel?" He asked. 

"Awful" I said and then turned and saw Banner entering. 

"Well, I'm glad you are awake. You had been asleep for four days" He said and went to check on me. "You will be fine, just need to rest. You can get out of here tomorrow." He said. 

"Thanks Bruce" I said and then looked at Tony. I couldn't stop thinking of what the man said. I wanted to ask if it was true. Did he really leave me alone? But I decided not to. 

"I want to sleep" I said and looked away from him. I couldn't see him any longer. 

"Okay, sleep" He said as he took a seat next to my bed. 

"Alone" I said and then he looked at me hurt. 

"Okay" He said and softly kissed my forehead. "I love you" 

"I love you too." I said and closed my eyes. I then heard the door closed and I then I pretend to be asleep. Some minutes passed and my mind started playing tricks on me, I heard his laugh. That laughed that he had when he would hit me. 

Then the machines went off and I just couldn't open my eyes. I was watching his face. 

"Hey Minnie.Everything is okay. I'm here" I heard a soft voice. "Is okay" He said and I felt someone get in bed with me and putted his arms around me and rock me like a baby. 

"Shh! Is okay. You are safe" I heard him say in my ear. Then my body relaxed and I could open my eyes. I cried in his arms and then I turned to face him and saw those blue eyes. 

"Steve" I whispered.
