THE MISSING STARK

STARKS HAVE TO STICK TOGETHER

STEVE P. O. V

A few days passed and we didn't know who or what the pager was contacting. We were all in the common room. Minnie and I were a couple now. People knew about us. We slept together every day and she kept having nightmares.

"Tony.... Tony..." She cried in her sleep.

"Shh... Is okay darling. I'm here. We will find him" I said as I hugged her and kissed her. She then slept. That was almost every night.

She then we will go with Pepper and be with her to support her. Pepper is being so strong. And we are still working on finding Tony.

We were in the common room looking how many people were vanishing. I was with Natasha, while Minerva was with Pepper.

"This is a nightmare." I said.

"I have better nightmares" Natasha said. Then Rhodey came to the room and said that the device that Minerva brought from Nick Fury stoped beeping.

We thought it was the battery but apparently Bruce said it was connected.

"I want to know what is in the other side of the line" Natasha said and then we saw a women standing infront of us.

"Where is Fury?" She asked.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"I'm a friend Of Fury. I'm going to repeat once more.. Where is Fury?" She asked.

We explained to her what was going. She understood and then she asked if she could have a room so she can rest, it seems like had been all over the universe. Trust me, if they had told me that all this was happening, 5 years ago, I will think they were crazy.   She offered to look in space for Tony giving us some hope. I was walking to the living room, I haven't seen Minerva the whole day. 

"Come on Thor! It wasnt your fault." I heard Minerva said as I watched her sitting next to Thor. 

"Lady Minerva, you should be the one that should be mad at me. If I had killed Thanos, many would be alive. Stark would be here with you" Thor said. Thor has been acting really depressing this days. he hasn't spoken to anyone except Minerva. She has that effect on any one. Those soft brown eyes can give you trust. 

"Like I said, is not your fault. Trust me..." She said and then looked at me and we gave each other a soft smile. She told something on Thor's ear and he smiled softly. She gave him a kiss in his cheek and got up to walk to me. 

"Hey.. " She said. 

"Hey..." I said back. "I have some news for you" I said and told her about our visitor who was willing to help look for Tony. She then started crying and hugged me tight. I have her a kiss on her head and she smiled with tears on her eyes. 

"I have to tell Pepper!" She said and ran to Pepper's room. I then went back to the others. 

MINERVA'S P.O.V.

After  I told Pepper, we both cried. I wanted to see my big brother annoying face. I missed him so much. I was so nervous, I didn't know what to expect. Pepper was so worried about him and so was I, but luckily I have Steve who took really good care about me. We shared the same bedroom since I was often having nightmares. But Pepper had noone except me. 

After we calmed down, I brought Pepper some calming tea so she could rest. She hasn't slept well the last few days. She had dark circles in her eyes. I knew I didn't have the best look in the world, but I was trying to be okay, for everyone. Thor was often blaming himself,so I often calmed him down. I also needed to help Pepper and take care of the Stark Industries, since Pepper was in no condition to do it. The company was not in their best, since many workers dissapear. 

After I made sure that Pepper was sleeping, I went to the kitchen and went to grab a apple. I ate it on the livingroom and sat reading a book. I then went and took a shower finding Steve reading a book in our bed. I smiled and crawl to lay next to him. I then rested my head on his chest and he ran his fingers through my hair making me fall asleep. 

It was already dark when I woke up alone in bed. I looked around and saw that Steve was in the restroom, I looked and saw that the door was opened. He was shaving his beard. Man! I liked his beard. I walked behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist. He then touched my arms and turned around. He picked me up and sat me in the sink. He kissed me with so much passion. 

"What was that for?" I asked laughing a little bit. 

"I love you so much, you know that?" Steve asked. 

"Yeah.. I know." I said touching his face. "By the way, I liked your beard" I said. 

He laughed a little and then kissed me again. 

"You been so good to everyone, you are suffering but you make sure to be strong. Manage a whole company and helping people. Helping your workers, Pepper, volunteer helping others. You truly have a great heart. Something that maybe your birth mother was, kind. Howard, wasn't so kind." He said smiling. I rolled my eyes, Tony had mention that once in a while. 

"Your kindness comes from your mom's side" Tony would often said to me. 

I smiled and kissed him. We were kissing when we heard something and the building started shaking. Steve helped me down and he out on a sweater and he gave me his jacket. We walked out of the compound building and we saw a light bringing like a jet. Pepper was already there. i ran to her side and she then grab my hand. 

We then saw how the door opened and someone was helping Tony walk. My heart starting beating fast and tears fell on my cheeks. I closed my eyes and when I opened them I saw that Steve was already on his side  and Pepper was walking to him wrapping her arms around him. 

I saw how he kissed her head and hugged her. 

"Where is she?" I heard his voice and his eyes were looking for me until they landed on me. He opened his arms and I ran to them. I felt his arms wrapping them around me and him sobbing. 

"Oh God! You are okay! You are safe!" He said and kissed my cheek. I started sobbing and then he whispered in my ear "Everything is fine, I'm fine princess" Then we walked him to the compound. I received a call from the company and left Tony sitting in a wheelchair. Tony was with Pepper and the rest of the avengers. 

When I came back, I found everyone standing around Tony who was in the floor. I ran to him and Steve took Tony to a room where there was a medical bed and some equipment. Bruce ran some test on him. I was worried and Steve stood by my side. Steve then excuse himself and I stayed with Pepper by Tony side for the rest of the night. Starks have to stick together.
