THE MISSING STARK

TWO YEARS LATER

MINERVA'S P.O.V.

Two years had passed. Alot of things had happened. There was no more Avengers. Tony and Pepper went back together and were so happy. My house arrest had finished, I was finally free.

I graduated early from teaching degree. I was now working as a teacher in an elementary school, where I met my now fiancé. He is the principal in the school I am working. But his parents own some companies, which work with Stark Industries. We both shared that we have rich families but decided to be teachers.

Nicholas is his name. He is a british gentleman. He is really sweet and caring. He treats me good and loves me so much. He is great with kids and is fun to be with. He is the perfect man, but he is not Steve. Steve made me feel something that I will never feel again.

I didn't want to date him at first but then my friends and Pepper had told me that I needed another chance in love. I had to forget Steve, he broke my heart the day he broke his promise. The day he left me alone. So I decided to go out with him. We went out a couple of times and then he asked me to be his girlfriend. A year later he proposed and I accepted. Tony was happy for me, that I was finally starting to have a normal life.

"So....  everything is ready for the engagement party. We have the flowers and the cake. Have to gotten your dress?" Pepper asked me as I grabbed myself a cup of coffee.

"Umm yeah. Already in my room."I said as I went through my emails.

"Are you nervous?" Pepper asked.

"Why would she be nervous? She is a Stark. She will be a beautiful bride. By the way, your dad is getting here in two hours. "Tony said kissing my temple.

"Thanks Tony. Actually I'm a bit nervous. You know I'm not good with the attention. I guess Howard's attention gene went to you."I said as I saw him get close to Pepper.

" Why don't you go run with us? Maybe that could take your mind off the party for a while"Pepper said.

"That would be great. Thanks Pep. I'm going to go change."I said and went to change into sweats.

We were running in the park when Pepper and Tony started arguing about a dream that Tony had about a baby. He thought she was pregnant. We were laughing when we saw some type od magical figure and a man with a cape came from a portal.

"Tony Stark, I'm Dr. Strange, I need you  to come with me."  He said. Pepper and I stood in shock.

"By the way, congratulations on the wedding" The man said.

"Thank you" Pepper and I said together. Did I mention Tony and Pepper are going to get marry?

"Are you giving ticket to the circus?" Tony asked. The man said something about the universe being at risk.

"We need your help." Dr. Strange said.

"Who is we?" Tony asked and then Bruce came to view.

"Hey Tony. Pepper, Minnie" Bruce said. He looked scared.

"Hey Bruce" I whispered softly as he walked to us. He walked and hugged Tony.

"Are you okay?" Tony asked and we all hugged Bruce.

Then Tony saw us and kissed Pepper and kissed my cheek.

"I'll see you guys at the party." Tony said.

"Don't be late" I said and he smiled.

"Want me to bring you a cheeseburger?" Tony asked. I felt something on my chest and grabbed his arm before he left.

"Tony... Please. Be safe." I said as I looked at his eyes.

"I'll be back, princess. Don' t worry." He said as he kissed my forehead.

Then Pepper and I went back to the car and went back to the compound. Time passed and we got ready for the party. My dad came from Los Angeles and went with us. The party was in a Hotel. People starting coming and Pepper kept looking at her phone.

"He hasn't Call?" I asked. She shook her head no.

Then Nicholas came and kissed me. I introduced him to my adoptive father and went with him to greet some guest. Then I heard how everyone was going to the window.

Nicholas and I went hand in hand and see what was going on. We saw some sort of spaceship. Oh GOD!

"Can you stay with my dad. I'm going to check on Pepper." I told Nicholas.

"Yes, darling" He said and I kissed his cheek. I went to Pepper and saw she was in the phone.

"Tony, come back. Don't tell me you are there" she said to the phone. I went and grab it from her hands.

"You better get your genious ass to this party. Or I swear to God-" I said.

"Hey... Sweety. I'm so sorry. I'm really really sorry" He said and it broke the Call.

"Tony! TONY!" I screamed at the phone. I turned around and saw how everyone was looking at us.

I freaked out and ran out the room. I heard Pepper excuse myself and she said that the party was going to be pospone. I was outside the door trying to calm myself. Seconds later Nick came to me with my dad.

"Love, are you okay?" He asked, his soft green eyes looking at me.

"I'm sorry...  This party got ruined. But my brother-" I said and started crying.

"Shh.. Is okay darling. You don't need to apologize." He hugged me.

"Everything is going to be fine" my dad said and I smiled at him.

"I'm going to take my parents home. Can I see you later?" He asked.

"Yes, I'll be in the compound. But I think is better if we stay inside our homes. We don't know what we are dealing with. Stay with your parents. I'll be safe." I said in his arms.

"Take care, love. I love you" He said as he kissed me.

"I love you too" I said as I kissed him.

Happy, Pepper, my dad and I went to the compound. I took my dad to his room. It was between Tony and Pepper's room  and my room. He was tired and wanted to rest. Pepper was worried and I gave her some calming pills. I went to see what was going on.

I went to the main room and saw Bruce sitting down. He looked scared. When he saw me, his eyes went wide.

"Wow... You look beautiful."He said. I was wearing a silver almost white dress and had my curls in a classic bun.

" Thank you. I was in my engagement party. But it was abruptly interrumpted by aliens. Can you tell me what is going on? " I asked. He told me all about this tyrant namesd Thanos who wanted to destroy half of the population.

"I'm going to see if Rhodey  could  contact Tony" I said walking to the communication room.

I entered and then I saw him. He looked older, had a beard but still had those blue ocean eyes with a hint of gold that made me weak. I stood frozen.

"Minerva" I heard my name being called in the voice I dreamed so many nights.

"Steve..." I whispered.
