MINERVA P.O.V

"NICK!NICK! NICHOLAS!" I screamed as I ran after him. He walked faster and then got in his car and drove away.

I watched as he went away. I dialed his number and he didn't pick up. I tried and walked to the compound. I was going to get my keys and go after him. I needed to explain what was going on.

I went back and grab my keys when a hand took my hand with force, taking away my car keys.

"You are not going anywhere. You have to stay here" Steve said as he looked at me.

"I can't let him go like this. He deserves better. He was good to me.  I was perfectly fine. I was stable! Why did you have to kiss me?" I screamed at his face.

"I must remind you, you kiss me back. Minerva, you must stay here. You need to be safe, while your brother is gone. While we find out what is going on. " He said in a calming voice.

"STOP FUCKING MESSING WITH MY HEAD! YOU LEFT ME! YOU LEFT ME! SO DON'T COME AND TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD DO. GIVE. ME. MY FUCKING. KEYS." I screamed at his face.

"Steve...we need you." Sam said in the doorway looking between me and Steve, looking awkard.

"I'M GOING!" He screamed at Sam. "I'm sorry. I'll be there in a second" Steve said as he looked at me.

"Please, I'm begging." Steve said.

I grab my keys and then look at his eyes.

"You have no right to tell me what to do" I said softly and walked away to check on Nick.

STEVE P.O.V

"You know.. The World is ending and we need you Steve." Sam said pointing at the studio.

"I know..." I said as I watched her walk away. I looked at Sam who gave me a small smile and a side hug. We went to the studio and saw everyone staring at me.

"I'm sorry... I was-" I said pointing at the hall.

"We know, we heard" Rhodey said crossing his arms. He looked upset, maybe since he has known Minnie for a very long time. And she was his bestfriend's sister.

Bruce started telling us about the infinity stones and how this titan called Thanos needed all of them to destroy half of the universe. And who had one of this stones? Vision.

"Then we must protected it" Natasha said.

"We must destroy it" Vision said as he walked to Wanda and said that she must be the one to do it.

I saw how the both looked at each other and I couldn't stop thinking about my Minerva. How stupid I was to leave her. I thought that I was doing her a good but I didn't know I broke her so much. Now she is gone, Now she left me to go after him.

"Thanos threatens half the universo. One life cannot stand in the way of defeating him" Vision said as he looked at us.

"But It should. We don't trade lifes, Vision."I said as I looked at him.

"Captain, 70 years ago, you laid your life, to safe how many millions of people? Tell me, why is this any different?" Vision said.

"Because, you might have a choice" Bruce said. He explained that Vision was not just a stone. He was a mix of Tony, Bruce, and more. If they took his stone, there would be alot more of Vision left.

"Can we do that?" Nat asked.

"Not here, not me" Bruce said.

"Well, we better find someone who can and fast. Ross won't let you have your old rooms Back." Rhodey said.

"I know somewhere" I said as I remembered the place we took Bucky. Wakanda.

MINERVA'S P.O.V 

I drove to Nick's house. His family own a mansion outside of the city. When I arrived, I saw his car. A sight of relieve came to me as I walked to his door. I knocked and his mother opened the door. 

"Darling! What is going on? Nicholas came home from your house and ran to his bedroom. Is everything alright?" His mother said in a worried look and a british accent. 

NO!  I am the most horrible fiancé in the world, I thought to myself. 

"Can I see him? I must speak to him." I said and tears came to my eyes. She nodded her head and I ran to his room. 

"Nick?" I knocked on the door. "Can you please open the door?" I asked. 

The door opened and I saw his eyes were red and puffy, from crying. 

"What do you want?" He asked and then looked at me. 

"Can I come in? I want to speak to you" I said. He let me in and he sat on his bed. I took a chair and sat. We were quiet. I didn't know how to start. 

"I'm sorry..." I whispered. He looked at me. 

"For what? For cheating on me? I thought that you loved me. " Nick said ith hurt in his eyes.

"I need to explain what was going on. Look, Steve and I had some sort of history together. But he left and he came back and I got sort of confuse. " I said as I looked down. 

"Well.... I can't be with someone that gets confuse easily." He whispered. I then looked at him. I looked at his eyes and then started sobbing. 

"Please Nick... We are getting married" I said crying. His eyes got soft and then went and knelt infront of me. 

"Do you really want to get marry?" He whispered as he grab my face wih his hand. 

I looked at his eyes and then looked down. Did I really wanted to get married? 

"Yes" I whispered and he then gave me a soft chukled. 

"Darling, your voice say yes,but your eyes tells me no. Look, I love you so much. So much that I want you to be happy. Now I want to know... Will I make you happy? Or will he make you happy?" Nick said, looking at me with sad expession. 

I started crying some more. He then hugged me and kissed my hair. I didn't deserve him, he was so sweet and caring. 

"Why don't you think about it and then tell me your decision. I will accept whatever you want" he said and hugged me some more. 

I then wiped my tears and left. I drove to a near park. I know, I shouldn't be out. But I couldn't go to the compound. I needed to be away from Steve. I looked at my engagement ring and I felt my phone buzzing. I saw that it was Steve. I ignore the call multiple times. I was upset, I was confuse. Can you love two people at the same time? Nick gave me stability, love, I was safe. I could have a normal life. Travel with him, have kids and he would always be there for me and them. He was sweet and caring and was great with kids. I had always wanted a family. 

But Steve gave me love, passion and safe feeling. But I couldn't start a family with him. He was always risking his life, which could also risk mine. He was  always going to a fight, could never say no to a fight. But that is what made him the Steve I felt in love with. He always fought for what was right. 

I looked again at my engagement ring and then smiled, remembering how Nick proposed. He had my student's help. It was the most magical and great moment of my life. Something that I will never forget. My phone continued buzzing and I saw Steve's name in the screen. I rolled my eyes. I was mad with him. He ruined the most beautiful thing I had when he kissed me. 

You kissed him back! My mind screamed at me. Oh shut up! I said to myself. You have to make up your mind... Do you want romantic and nice Nick or passionate and sweet Steve?

I looked at the sky.. Tony! Please come back safe. I need my big brother to help me make up my mind. Or at least to talk to! I just want Tony to be safe. I just wish things were back to normal and didn't have to  worry aboout this decision.
