THE MISSING STARK

MY NEW FRIEND STEVE

MINERVA'S P.O.V.

Life in New York was getting better for all citizens. Some people felt scare that aliens might come back to earth and some more people felt safe that we had this heroes who called themselves The Avengers to protect us. I in the other hand just felt happy that my brother was alive. Brother.. I still need to get used to call him that. 

"Hello brother" I said smiling, entering, what now they called the Avengers Tower. Donuts bag in hand. 

"Hello baby sister" Tony said as he went and grab the bag of donuts. "You know, you are going to make me fat" He said. 

"Well, you should stop asking for donuts so often. " I said.

"That's the only excuse I have so I can see you" He said as he hugged me. 

"I'm sorry. School and work have been super busy this days." I said. 

"I know...." He said. We started atalking about how was our lifes. He told me that he was going back to Malibu since he had some business to do. 

"Are you going to be fine on your own?" He asked. I rolled my eyes. 

"Yes Tony. I will be fine" I said. "JARVIS, can you tell me the time?"I asked the A.I

"It's 6:05, miss Stark" the A.I said. 

"Rodriguez, JARVIS. Call me Rodriguez" I said and looked at Tony who was holding his laughter. 

"I'm sorry Miss Rodriguez" He said and I smiled at the ceiling. 

"Well... I must go. My brake is over. Hope to see you soon" I told Tony as I kissed his cheek. 

"Be safe!"Tony said as he kissed my cheek too. 

When I entered the café, I heard some giggling. What is ging on?

" Girls... What is going on?" I asked the other waitress. 

"Hot guy on one of your tables" Anna, a co-worker said. 

Then I turned and saw a blond haired on one of my tables. I went and grabed a coffee pot and a chocolate cake. I went to his table. He was reading a book. 

"Hello there" I said and he looked at me and smiled. 

"Hello neighbor" He said as he smiled. Aha! So he does remember me. I made a little dance in my head. 

"My name is Minerva, by the way. " I said as I filled his cup and put the cake infront of him. 

"Steve" He said as he shook my hand. He then looked at the cake with a confuse look. 

"Is on the house. Hope you like chocolate cake. This is a thank you for what you did a few days ago. Saving us in the bank" I said smiling. 

"My pleasure" He said smiling. 

"Well, if you need something, just call me. " I said and went to check on other tables. 

Later that night. It was time to close and Steve was still reading his book. The other waitress asked me to tell him that we wanted to close. I got closer to Steve and asked him if he needed anyhting else, since we had to close. 

"Actually, I was waiting for you. A think a lady might need some companion home. Is late and streets can be quite dangerous." He said. Aww! What a gentleman. So old fashion. Well it makes sense. He is Captain America after all. 

"Okay. I will just clean up and I will be off. Thank you" I said and went to clean. He paid and went out. After I cleaned I went out and saw Steve leaning on a motorbike. 

"You don't mind?" He asked refering the motorcycle. 

"Of course noooot" I said. I had never ride a motorbike before. My dad have never let me and Tony, well he is such a protective man. We rode to our apartment building and went inside. 

"Would you like some more coffee?" I asked. He chuckled and accepted. We got to my apartment and we drank coffee and talked. He told me stories when he was a soldier and fought the Nazis. Then I told him some stuff of this era. I told him about music and electronics. 

It was late and he said he had to go. He thank me for the coffee and went to his apartment. He gave me a feeling that he was all alone and didn't have many friends. Well, he had a friend now. 

Days passed and we kept the same routine. Him going to the café, taking me home and then some coffee at my place. He would bring some music and we would play it. We would talk and talk. He was sweet and we would talk about art and all. I told him about my family but never mention the name Stark. I didn't want him to think I was rich and spoil like some people would think Tony Stark was. 

I was at my apartment doing homework, when I received a call from Pepper. She told me that Tony was going to be in an operation to take off his arc reactor. I decided to fly to Malibu to be with him.  I told Steve that I was going to Malibu since my brother was sick and he took me to the airport. We hugged goodbye and told me to call him, so he can pick me up when I come back. 

When I got to the hospital, I was received by Rhodey. 

"Hey Rhodes. Where is Pepper?" I asked. 

"Didn't you hear the news?" He asked me. 

"I'm a collegue students that works. I don't have time to watch the news" I said. Well, also that I had a new friend that had all my free time. 

Rhodey told me about this person that exploted Tony's mansion.  That Tony was under a lot of stress since the attack from New York. He has nighmares and didn't sleep. He made a lot of suits and that a man inyected Pepper with some liquid that suppose to make people super soldiers, but made people explode. Happy was in a coma from an explosion. Woah! All that happened since I was gone? 

While Tony was in operation, I went to visit my dad. Then I went back to the hospital and stayed with Happy. Then Rhodey called me and told me that Tony was out of operation and I stood by his side. Pepper was better since they took out all the chemicals in her body. She then came with us and we stayed until Tony was much better. 

"Hey sis... you are going to have brother for a long time" He whispered . I laughed and grab his hand. 

"I really hope so" I said. We stayed there for some time and a few days passed. I had exams and I needed to go back to class. Tony was better and lend me his private airplane. When I was in the airport, I called Steve. 

"Hello?" a voice said. That was not Steve. 

"Ummm hello? Who's this?" I asked. 

"This is Sam, I'm Steve's friend. He is in the hospital"He said.Oh no!
