Twelve years later

"come on sasuke you got this!" I cheered on my son as he played volleyball. I could tell that he was playing his hardest but he still lost.

He walked towards us with his head hung low. Knowing sasuke he's probably beating himself up about it.

I pulled him into a hug "hey buddy you did real good out there. I'm proud of you"

He took his glasses off to wipe the tears away "thank you dad"

"let's get some ice-cream to celebrate" shuichi smiled warmly.

"ok!" sasuke said excitedly.

We went home with big tubs of ice-cream.
