Shuichis Near Death Experience

Requested by flaming saiibo ace.

Kiibos pov

I was walking through the halls when I heard a scream. It was coming from mius laboratory. I burst in and what I saw shook me to my core.

Miu was towering over shuichi with a knife in her hand. Shuichi was cowering in the corner helpless. Miu raised the knife over her head and-

"stop!" I jumped in front of the knife and took the hit in my arm.

"kiibo?" miu said in disbelief.

I quickly scooped shuichi up into my arms and ran back to my dorm. I sat shuichi down on my bed. He looked shaken up.

"shuichi are you o-"

"I'm sorry"

I was a little confused. He's sorry? "why are you sorry?"

"well you got hurt protecting me so I feel bad" he said tearfully.

I pulled him into a hug "shuichi there's no need to feel bad. I did it to protect you and I'd do it ten times over if it kept you safe"

"you really mean that" he looked up in surprise.

"I do" I nodded firmly.

"that makes me very happy" he smiled sweetly "but is your arm really ok?"

"Well it's a little hard to move but it's not too bad. I can't feel pain so it's more of a inconvenience then anything" I explained.

"ok that's good" he said nuzzling into my chest. I never noticed how small and fragile shuichi was.

I guess that means I'll have to protect him.
