Shuichis pov

Kiibos been acting strange lately. He's been quiet, almost emotionless. When I try to talk to him about it kokichi and miu always step in the way glaring at me. What did I do!?

I was heading to class when kaito placed a hand on my shoulder "hey sidekick I need to talk to you about something"

He dragged me away and looked at me nervously "listen sidekick I need to talk to you about keade. She's not good for you. I'm telling you for your own good to dump her"

I couldn't believe what I was hearing "your can't be serious"

"I am. You need to leave her. I'm telling you this as a friend"

"I've had enough of this I'm leaving" I tried to walk away but kaito grabbed my arm.

"i didn't want to do this but" he pulled out a picture of rantaro and keade kissing "they've hooking up behind your back shuichi. I'm sorry"

I was filled with so many mixed emotions but before I could act on them kiibo stormed past us and pinned keade to the wall.

"so you got the chance to date the most loving and kind person in the world and you go and break his heart! You don't deserve his love!"

"kiibo it's ok-" I tried to calm him down but he pushed me away.

"no its not ok! I loved you for the longest time and she took you from me and now she's broken your heart and-"

"wait you like me?" I gasped.

Kiibo covered his mouth quickly looking ashamed. I walked over to him and hugged him.

"so that's why you were acting so strange. I'm so sorry I didn't notice kiibo" I muttered gently petting his head.

"it's ok I wasn't too open about it anyway" he muttered cuddling into me.

I held him close feeling healed from my heartbreak even just temporarily.
