Advice From Your Mentor

Shuichis pov

"you wish for advice from me on love?" my mentor kiyoko looked at me strangely. I found myself falling in love with a certain robot and was in need of some advice.

"Well you managed to win over makoto so I figured you would be good with this stuff" I muttered sheepishly.

"shuichi" she placed a hand on my shoulder and smiled gently at me "the best advice I can give you is to be yourself and most importantly be honest with him. Tell him how you feel"

"ok thanks kiyoko" I muttered.

"no problem kid" she ruffled my hair "your going to do great"

I smiled at her. She honestly felt like the mother I never had and I value her advice so if she thinks that I should tell kiibo how I feel then that's what I'll do!

Time skip

"hey shuichi how was your day with kiyoko?" kiibo asked as I entered the door. Ever since we graduated from hopes peak me and kiibo have been living together. He's my best friend and that why I'm so terrified of these newfound feelings.

"it was great Umm kiibo I have something I need to tell you"

"ok well go ahead I'm listening"

I took a deep breath. It's now or never "kiibo I think I'm in love with you!"

Kiibo didn't say anything. He just grabbed my face and kissed me.

"do you still love me?" he asked once we parted.

"yes"

"good! That means your feelings are genuine"

I pulled him into a hug "I love you you dork!"

"I love you too shuichi" I felt a smile spread across my face as he said those words. He loves me. He really loves me!
