(basically kaito dies in the third trail instead of tenko and shuichi starts to lose it and see dead people)

Shuichis pov

I woke up with dry tears on my face. Last night my best friend kaito was killed by korekiyo. I feel so broken. I've lost so many people I love.

"it's all your fault" my head shot up and I saw keade hanging from a noose "you killed me"

"you couldn't save any of us" kaito stood behind me with a gushing neck wound.

"you sent us all to our deaths" rantaro glared at me.

They all started yelling at me all at once. I fell to my knees, covered my ears and and yelled "I'm sorry" over and over again.

Suddenly I felt a pair of warm arms wrap around me. I felt my anxiety melt away. I lay back in the persons arms as they whispered.
