First Date

Kiibos pov

Today's the day. I'm going on my first date with shuichi. I have no idea what a date is but it sounds fun!

"kiibo are you ready?" shuichi called up.

"yep I'm just getting my scarf!" I yelled as I put my scarf on and ran out the door. Shuichi stood outside wearing a black coat over his school uniform.

"sorry I look a little scruffy I just got out of after school classes" the young detective apologised.

"it's fine. You look nice" I read in a dating book that you should compliment your partner at the start of the date.

"thanks. You look nice too" he said smiling nervously (there such awkward little beans) "come on I have a great place for our first date"

He took me to a hillside where the sun was setting. He had a picnic basket with him.

"surprise! We're going to have a picnic here where its just you and me" shuichi said.

"that's great but.."

"but what?

" we're not the only ones here" I pointed towards kokichi and rantaro who were sitting together.

"hey guys" rantaro yelled as Kokichis face went red. I wonder if they're together too.

"hey rantaro" shuichi said looking disappointed.

Kokichi caught onto this and grabbed rantaros hand "come on rantaro let's hang out somewhere else"

"sure thing" he said walking away with the shorter boy.

We set out the picnic and ate together in peace. After a while the sun began to set.

"wow its beautiful" I gasped.

"not as beautiful as you" shuichi said making me blush. I inched closer to him and he wrapped an arm around his waist. I don't know much about dates but I'd consider this date successfull.
