The school ended a while ago, I was just walking around, trying to find Mateo. When I finally saw him by his locker, I was really relieved. Neil was waiting for me in the car, and I didn't want him to wait too much.

-"Hey pretty boy!" There was only me and him left in this hall, so it wasn't a problem that somebody would hear me.

At first I thought he will ignore me, then I heard his question. -"Are you talking to me?"

-"Obviously. There's nobody else here." I said, and he furrowed his brows and looked around the empty hallway.

-"What do you want?" He finally asked, looking annoyed.

-"So is it true that you're a hacker?" I asked, excitement radiating from me.

-"Who told you that?" Mate asked and frowned.

-"Is it true?" I asked back, furrowing my brow.

-"Maybe." He didn't hesitate with the answer, but I needed to say it faster, because he was finishing getting his stuff.

-"So I need you to teach me hacking." I said.

-"No." He said and turned to leave.

-"Hey! Stop I really need it." I ran in front of him, waiting for an answer. He shook his head.

-"As I said, no."

-"Please?" I made puppy eyes, because that worked most of the time. And now he was not so confident.

-"I will only bother you till you'll teach me something." I said, hoping to convince him.

-"Fine." He took out a paper from his jacket and wrote something on it. He gave it to me and walked past me, going out of the school.

I checked the paper, and it was his phone number. Or at least I thought so. Anyway, it's a progress.

I smiled, and ran outside of the school, going to Neils car. I hide the paper, but he still saw it. -"What?" I asked.

-"There's no way you got Mateos phone number." Neil said, now being the skeptic one.

-"Lets find out, then." I looked around the school parking lot, just to see Mateo walking to his car. I quickly deal his phone number in my phone, and call him.

I see him stopping in front of his car and opening it, then pulling something out of his jacket. Sure it was his phone, and he checking the ID answered it.

-"Hey pretty boy."

-"You're checking if I gave you the right number?" I saw him frown, and then he looked up, making eye contact with me. I smiled a satisfied smile and he rolled his eyes.

-"I can't drive when you're talking to me, so I'll call you later."

-"Fine." He disconnected the call and threw his phone in his passenger seat, then starting the car. He drove out of the schools parking lot, and I finally looked at suprised Neil.

-"You got his phone number, and called him pretty? I swear, he's planning something now." Neil was looking at me like I'm crazy.

-"Whatever, I still got his phone number. Now drive." Neil shook his head and we finally drove home, joy building up in me.

When we got home I immediately wen to my room to call Mateo, but of course someone had to bother me now. Regina came in and looked around my room.

-"I hope your first day in school went great. We can get you a credit card now, and a laptop."

-"Alright." I was out of my place on bed in no minute, because I really needed a laptop. We went downstairs and once again, I sat into the car.

She drove further in the city this time again, and stopped in front of some sort of a shop. Or bank. Or whatever it was.

We walked in, and Regina started talking with the administrator. -"Well need a credit card for my daughter now."

-"Name?" He looked at me, waiting for an answer.

-"Simone Reece." I said.

-"Age?"

-"Sixteen." I answered, way too confidently.

-"Does her card has to be related to yours?" The administrator now looked at Regina.

-"No. She needs her own." She answered.

The administrator nodded and I had to sign something, then he asked for my phone.

-"Ill connect it now, so you don't have to do it later." Regina nodded, and I unlocked it and gave to him.

He installed an app where I would see how much money I still have. And then he gave it back to me, with my new credit card.

Regina thanked and we drove to the next shop. -"Alright, do you want to choose your laptop yourself, or do you want a professional?"

-"I'll do it myself." I answered.

-"Okay. Remember, the price doesn't matter. You can take as much as you need."

I nodded and she followed me inside, staying besides the cashier. While she was busy talking, I walked around the shop. After a while I sighed, because I couldn't figure which I wanted between two laptops.

Each of them got some good things, what other doesn't, and that was driving me insane.

-"What's wrong?" Regina asked, watching me.

-"I can't choose."

-"We'll take both of them." The cashier checked which two of them I waned, then got copies from behind the shop.

Regina paid, and I took both of the boxes and we walked out. When I finally got home I went upstairs, to unpack my laptops.

I didn't expect to live this easy, and I knew something is gonna happen again. It's too quiet, and I'm too relaxed with it.

After a while my phone rang. I checked the ID, and it was Mateo, so I immediately picked up.

-"Hey pretty boy." I said, dropping on my bed.

-"Can you stop calling me like that?" He asked.

-"No."

-"Fine. We can meet tomorrow after school, I'll drive you to my house." Mateo said.

-"Mkay. Is that all?" I asked, hearing his unbothered tone.

-"What else did you expected?" I almost flinched as he said those words, but managed not to say anything too mean.

-"Nothing. Then, bye, pretty boy."
I waited till he disconnected the line, then I sighed and continued to unpack my laptop.
