Chapter 33

I tried to avoid being in this house, I really did, but I couldn't always guarantee it.

I walked down to kitchen, after packing up my laptop and almost ran in Silicia.

-"Hey, darling, what are you up to? I haven't seen you much in my house." She said, smiling a welcoming smile at me, but I sure knew that she didn't care that much.

-"Only dropping by for my laptop. I'm quite busy right now." I answered, smiling that innocent smile that always convinced the grown ups that I'm not lying.

-"Wanna stay for dinner? I'm ordering something delicious." She said, walking up to the fridge.

-"No thanks, I'm gonna head out now." I said, quickly making my way outside and walking to Mateo's apartment.

I unlocked the apartment doors and barged in. -"Hey pretty boy!"

-"Hey baby." Mateo murmured, frowning at his computer.

-"What's wrong?" I asked, jumping in the couch besides him.

-"I can't get this code right. Don't worry, almost done." He answered, typing something in.

I turned to look at the computer, but immediately turned away, seeing that I could fix that faster using my powers.

I quickly walked to bathroom, locking in, and let my powers out below the cold water that tried to freeze my hands into ice.

When I walked out, Mateo was worriedly looking at me. -"Are you okay?"

-"Yeah, why wouldn't I be? Well, apart from that my house is haunted by an evil woman, I mean, I'm fine." I shrugged.

Mateo chuckled.

My phone rang, so I took it out, answering it.

-"Hey Sim, I know you already were in the house, but can you comeback? And take Mateo with you." Neil said, sounding a lot like he's in a bathroom.

-"Why? What's wrong?" I couldn't help the annoyance slipping in my tone.

-"She's making me stay! Please Sim, I need you to come." He desperately said, and I heard someone knocking on the doors behind the phone.

-"Alright, imma be there for u." I mumbled.

I sat back in the couch, and pulled Mateo's laptop out of his lap.

-"We need to go to my house and help Neil survive with that evil woman." I said, making my tone as serious as I could.

Mateo furrowed his brows.

-"Seriously Sim? And I thought you wanna kiss me." He pouted, making me chuckle.

I quickly placed a kiss on his lips, and pulled him up, smirking at him. -"Maybe later."

He sighed but followed me outside, driving us to my house.

We got out and slowly walked in, with me soon sticking to Mateo's side like a glue, wrapping an arm around his waist and not letting him go.

As soon as he understood that, he placed his arm around my shoulders, also placing a light kiss on my head.

-"Sim, you're back already?" In my vision dripped Silicias venomously sweet voice.

Soon I also saw Neil standing in front of her, looking absolutely terrified.

-"Yeah, and I'm gonna need Neil to my room, NOW." I said, not afraid of commanding her.

I pulled Neil out of her grip, and soon locked my doors behind him.

-"What's with the look on your face?" I asked, crossing my arms.
