I heard my alarm go off from far away, I wasn't really awake, when Neil walked in my room. And when I finally woke up, that was because Neil was already in the car waiting for me, and calling me. And he was calling me only because we were already late to the school.

So I rushed downstairs and out of the house, quickly sitting in his car. The car was already started, so he just drove to the school way.
He speed up only when we were out of the territory.

-"What took you so long?" He asked.

-"Sleep." I answered and yawned, only proving my point.

-"You only woke up when I called you?"

-"Yes. Sorry." I smiled apologetic smile, and side glance at him.

He shook his head, and we finally drove into the schools parking lot. When we were out of the car he locked it and started run to the school, with me following.

I checked what class I'm supposed to go to, and made my way to it. The bell already rang, so I was totally late.

I stopped in front of the right class, when I heard running steps behind me. I turned, and Mateo was running my way. He stopped too, then checked the time.

-"Too late." He tried to catch his breath, while I smirked.

When he finally breathed normally, we walked into the classroom. The teacher stopped talking and looked at us. -"Care to tell me what took you so long?"

-"Nope." I said back.

-"Sit." I quickly nodded and walked to the first free seat I saw, and Mateo sat besides me. I looked around, and there sure wasn't any free seats anymore. So I just sighed and tried focus on the teacher, but my mind always wandered to Mateo.

Why was he late? We finished the movie not really late, so he got time till go to sleep, so then why was he late?

-"Mateo, what's the answer?" The teacher asked and he sat up more straight and scanned over the black board. He obviously didn't know the right answer, so I whispered it to him.

He glanced at me for a moment then said my answer to the teacher, who nodded. -"Correct."

He relaxed into the chair, obviously trying to concentrate more on the black board, and listening to the teacher. And I didn't bother him, because I was too busy listening myself.

The class soon ended, and I waited as everyone else rushed outside of the room. Mateo stopped in his tracks and turned to me. -"Why did you helped me?"

-"No idea." I said and walked past him, seeing him frown. Then he sighed behind me and I heard him following me.

After a moment I couldn't wait anymore, so I turned to him, still going, just backwards. -"Why are you following me?"

-"I'm not. I'm going to my next classroom." He smirked, seeing my furrowed brow.

-"Yeah, sure, sure." I smirked back, and he shook his head with his smirk fading.

Then I started to walk slower to walk besides him, and we walked in our next classroom. Bell rang right after we walked in, so we were right in time.

We parted our ways, going to different seats. I sighed and sat down, waiting for this boring class to end.

The bell rang, signifying the schools ending for today. I walked to my locker, taking out my books, after a moment approaching Mateos car.

I knocked on the window and it rolled down. Then I leaned in a little bit, placing my hands on the place where the window just rolled down.

-"Can I come to your apartment now?" I asked, leaning in a little, so I could hear him.

-"Why?" He asked, but still unlocked the doors.

-"Thanks." I got in and relaxed in the seat.

-"I won't help you. I'm going to sleep, so do you have something to do?" He asked while I just nodded along not really listening.

-"Aha." Only now I registered his words. -"Wait, you're gonna sleep, again? What normal person does that?"

-"Normal tired person."

-"Right." I murmured as he started the car and drove out of the schools territory. We drove in silence a while, when he finally turned on the radio.

After a moment we very already by his apartment, going in. He undressed and immediately went to his bedroom, while I tried to think of something to do.

After some moments I'm sitting in his couch, listening to the silence. And I couldn't take it no more, so I got out my laptop and earphones.

I spent more than two hours studying, when I finally got bored. So I got up from my seat on the couch, and walked to the kitchen with my earphones still in.

I opened the fridge searching for something, but I couldn't find anything that I would like. I closed the fridge doors and almost got heart attack because I saw Mateo standing in the door frame.

I took my earphones off. -"Are you crazy? I could get a heart attack or drop something!"

-"But you didn't."

-"But I could." I insisted.

-"But didn't. Now stop messing around, what do you want to eat?" I stepped away from the fridge as he approached it, opening the doors and taking my spot.

-"Not like I know how to make something." I furrowed my brows, probably looking stupid.

-"You don't how to make food? Where did you lived all your life?" He didn't stopped searching for something in the fridge, not really waiting for an answer. But I bit my lip and answered anyways.

-"In orphanage."

He froze a and-

Silence. Maybe I shouldn't told him that? What if he now thinks less of me? But the question will be brought up sometime, so better in the beginning.

-"Sorry." He quietly whispers and sighs. -"I can make something. Is there something you don't eat?"

-"Meat."

-"You're vegetarian?" Is it that obvious?

-"Yes."

-"Okay fine, maybe I can make something-" I cut him off almost immediately.

-"You don't have to, I can go home-" I was cut off by him.

-"Don't even think about going somewhere starving, I'm gonna make food."

-"Fine." I didn't like being said what to do, so I just walked to the couch so he wouldn't be able to tell me something.
