Sebastian's P.O.V
I can't believe she said yes, I lightly push a strand of hair out of her face and smile as her light snores echo throughout our bedroom. I love this woman. After my morning routine I head downstairs and make her one of her favourite breakfasts.
"Your cute butt better get down here before our breakfast gets cold." I mind link her and hear her laughing from upstairs.
"Thank you for breakfast baby." She smiles my way, while sipping her hot cocoa and I smile back.
"Of course my beautiful fiancé." This makes her blush.
"Can we head to the pack house today? I kind of have a late lunch with your mom." She smiles widely.
"Of course." I laugh, "Jake actually wanted to see me so I need to go there as well." After breakfast we put the dishes away, wash them and head to shower. She looks very beautiful in her sparkly off shoulder dress. "I love the dress and choice of shoes." I say kissing her forehead.
"Thank you baby, you look really good too." After our first doctors appointment I've kind of been against Zendea driving or being in a sports car, for some reason they seem unsafe for her to travel in all of a sudden. "We're taking the SUV again today ?" She asks as I unlock it.
"Mhmm."
"That's the third time you're taking the SUV, you've also been very against me driving any of our sports cars. May I ask why?" I close her door and get in, buckling my seatbelt.
"Ever since our doctors appointment I've been extra cautious, about everything around you, I just want you and our pup to be safe." When she laughs I furrow my eyebrows, looking at her.
"Baby, I am more than capable of driving a fast car while pregnant, jogging regularly or even lifting heavy things, I just need to take it easy when I near my due date. I appreciate you being concerned though, it's very sweet." I kiss her hand and keep my eyes on the road, getting to the house I mind link Jake, asking him where he is.
"They're outback." I tell Zendea so we make our way there and out of nowhere everyone yells SURPRISE! The moment we walk through the sliding doors and we almost die from shock.
"What?! You guys!" Zendea screeches out of joy while making her way to hug everyone, Jake makes his way to me and gives me a tight hug.
"Congratulations man! A fiancé and baby on the way, I am so happy and proud of you." I return his tight hug and give my thanks.
"I never thought this would ever be me but I am so glad it is. I could not be happier and it seems so surreal that I fear I might wake up and find out it was all a dream." I confess. Now that I care so deeply for another human being, the fear of losing her is my biggest nightmare.
"Not one person here would hesitate to put their life on the line for you and Zendea. You deserve this so enjoy every moment of it and stop worrying." After talking Jake and I head to the rest of the gang and enjoy the party they threw for us, Zendea seems so happy and at home, which she is. This is our home, our people and it is where we belong.
Luna Justine's P.O.V
After the week I have had I was more than happy to help plan this for my son and daughter-in-law, when Sebastian told me he was going to propose I knew she would say yes. She loves him so much, even a blind man can see it and if it wasn't for her my son would not be as happy as he is now.
"I just know you had something to do with this." She says, excitedly making her way to me.
"Let me see it." I beg and when she offers me her hand I gasp, who knew my son has such great taste when it comes to jewellery.
"Now that is marvellous, I am so happy for you my dear." She beams.
"So am I and thank you, I know he had to talk to you first and-"
"Oh hush!" I say patting her shoulder, "You two are meant to be and of course I was not going to be the one standing in the way of destiny, I just hope that he will try each day to make you as happy as you are right now. Because my lovelies, you both deserve it."
"I just know he will, and thank you once again, for welcoming me with open arms from day one. I will always cherish that. Now can I please get a hug before I breakdown and cry." When she hugs me everything feels just right.
"Will you excuse me dear." I say before heading inside, only to be followed by Rebecca.
Zendea's P.O.V
"So what did you think of our engagement slash pregnancy surprise party?" We laugh.
"I thought it was beautiful, I loved the decorations and everybody being there but I especially loved the cake. It was so delicious!"
"Yeah it was really fun, I love when we all get together once in a while. We always have a good time." Sebastian looks at me with a worried expression.
"What?" I ask looking at him weirdly.
"There's something bothering you, I can just feel it. So spit it out." Changing my position I face him.
"I can't really explain it myself but, there is just something off about what happened at the party with your mom and Rebecca."
"Rebecca the nurse?" And I nod my head.
"We were having a chat right."
"Mhm." He agrees so I continue.
"Then I gave her a tight hug but after she basically ran inside the house and Rebecca went in after her, as if following your mom inside. I know it's probably nothing but the way it happened just seemed strange to me." I can tell he's thinking of something.
"Well maybe I can just ask my mother about it?" He shrugs and I shake my head.
"If it's something serious she'll never tell you." I voice out.
"You're right, I'll just intimidate Rebecca into telling me, she can't say no to an order from her Alpha." I can't help but laugh.
"You are something else but if I'm being honest, I'm not against you forcing the truth out of her. Something doesn't feel right and I want to know what it is. Maybe you can do it when we have our second appointment with Dr Monroe, Friday." And he makes a confused face, "We can request she bring Rebecca when she comes over, that way you talk to her in private and I have my checkup in peace."
"I like that idea."
"Of course you do, I came up with it." I mock and he laughs.
"Cheeky, I like it."
