The next morning, Gai didn't wake up that early, which was a surprise to everyone.

With the girls

"Ayame?" Hinata asked.

"I don't want to wake up." she muttered. "I'm tired."

"Come on, wake up already!" Yuri said. "We're all waiting for you."

Ayame groaned and stood up. "Hurry up!" Ino yelled.

"Fine!"

With the boys

"Kazuki, wake up!" Kazuo yelled at his brother. Kazuki muttered something and turned around.

"Maybe I can help?" Sora offered. Kazuo nodded, looking at his sleeping brother. Sora used a water style jutsu on Kazuki and he woke up yelling 'Help, I'm drowning!'

"You're not drowning, moron." Sasuke told him.

"Sasuke, that was rude. Kazuki's dreams are a bit hyper realistic. Sometimes, he thinks it's real."

"I do not!" Kazuki yelled in defence. "Shut up! And who made me wet in the first place?!"

Yahashi pointed at Sora, and Sora pointed at Yahashi. "You're such a good friend, Yahashi." Sora said. "

"You too." Yahashi replied sarcastically.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, YOU DON'T WANT TO BRING US TO THE ISLAND?! WE NEED TO GET THERE, BELIEVE IT!" Naruto yelled at a man. The man was supposed to bring us to the island, but he didn't want too.

"Hey kid, that island is cursed. It's best if you just get back to where you come from." the man replied.

"We're not here for pleasure." Ayame said. "We're on a mission to give protection and to investigate. Can't you bring us near the island? We don't mind if we have to walk on the water for a while."

The man nodded. "Fine." he said. "But I won't get too close to that island."

Ayame smiled. "Arigatou." she said.

"Can't I just stay here? I don't want to be put in danger if I can't protect myself." Hitoshi stated.

"Well, he hasn't tried to escape yet..." Sakura muttered. "But should we trust him?"

"I don't think that'll be a good idea." Kurenai said. "We should have at least two of us stay here with him."

"Good idea, Kurenai." Youko said. "How about me, Asuma and Tenzou stay here?"

"Can't we just take him with us?!" Ino said. "What if we need everyone we can have?"

"That's why only three of us will stay behind." Youko said. "We'll try to gather information here and we'll keep contact."

Tenzou nodded. "Seems like a good idea to me, but shouldn't you be going to the island?"

"Why?" Asuma asked.

"Her technique is a strong one." Tenzou replied.

"I'm not the only one here who can use it." Youko said. "Yuri is able to use it too."

"How? I thought it was a Kekkei Genkai?" Kazuo asked.

Yuri nodded. "She's my aunt." she said. "My mother is her sister."

"I'll stay here with Tenzou and Youko then, or is there a volunteer?" Asuma said.

No one volunteered. Everyone wanted to miss out on the mission on the island.
