Third person pov

After Anko explained the second exam, there was a square rock. The rock followed Naruto around, leaving everyone in confusion.

The rock poofed away and three kids appeared. They introduced themselves as Konohamaru, Udon and Moegi: team Konohamaru. They told everyone they were here for an interview.

"All right, forgot about that." Anko said. "We'll take a break for the interview."

Kazuo and Kazuki weren't asked, while Ayame was.

Moegi stared at the twin blades Ayame was carrying. "Where did you get those?" she asked while still staring at the blades, which were decorated with a lot of detail.

"It was an early birthday present, I'll be turning twelve in five days."

"They look amazing!" Moegi exlaimed.

"Thank... you..." Ayame said, sounding slightly confused. "Do you have more questions?"

"No..." Moegi replied before walking away.

When everyone they wanted to ask was asked, the three kids left. Anko handed out a paper they had to sign, so she wouldn't be responsible if one of them died.

Ayame's pov

We went to get a scroll. Kotetsu and Izumo gave us a heaven scroll.

So we have to get an earth scroll, huh?

I put the scroll away and we walked towards our gate to wait for the start of the exam. I just hoped that I wouldn't take us five days to get an earth scroll and get back to the tower. Or else I would have to celebrate my birthday in this creepy forest.

"Let's get this over with as soon as possible." I murmured.

Kazuki sighed. "I just want to get in already and show what I can do!" he exlaimed. "Why won't she just let us enter the forest yet?!"

Kazuo put his hand on his shoulder and smiled. "We've got plenty of time." he said. "But we have to be back on the fourth day."

"Why?"

I facepalmed. "My birthday of course!" I said. "Don't tell me you forgot it!"

Kazuki shook his head. "No, no, of course not!"

Kazuo sighed. "You did, didn't you?"

Kazuki kept denying that he forgot my birthday.

"Sometimes, you're such a baka." I told him.

The gates suddenly opened and we ran in. When we found a good hiding spot, we looked around for eavesdroppers. When we couldn't find anyone, we made a plan.

"We need to get a scroll as soon as possible." I said. "I don't feel like celebrating my twelth birthdag in here."

Kazuo and Kazuki nodded. "We understand. What's the plan?"

"We target them, we don't want to be found ourselves." Kazuo replied. "When we find a team, we distract them to get them off guard, we attack them and take their scroll."

"What if they have a heaven scroll?" Kazuo replied.

"Then we won't take their scroll. We'll just keeo them unconcious and leave quietly."

I nodded. "Good plan." I said.

Our plan worked out, but we didn't have any luck. Everyone we attacked had a heaven scroll. "It almost makes me think no one has an earth scroll."

At the end of the third day, we finally had some luck. We found an unconcious team with an opened earth scroll laying in front of them. "Morons..." we murmured. We closed the scroll and took it with us.
