Your POV
We finally set foot in the place, going into the building of the adventures guild. I hate to tell this but we just end up waiting in line where there are people destined to become adventurers for their future. But what type of adventurers though, is it someone who often picks up materials and ingredients? The fighters who often fight monsters for their better strength? Or being a helper for someone's commission request?
To be honest, I am currently jobless with no name for which type of adventurer that I would become. It's based on the career I wanted to choose, so what is it that I want in this world?
I can tell that my friends are with me for the adventure study guild for the exam and it's going to be a lot. And there is a lot of training that needs to be put through because the exam contains a mock battle where the examiner judges the person's strength for his or her certain class. Also, the trial course is similar to the final selection for people who are destined to fight. Let's not forget about how people from my village wanted to pass for their benefits of having a career as time presses on. They're here in Alibreta, so they should be fine.
"..." I thought that everyone should be fine, but I'm still worried about Ave. She seems silent but crying on the inside. Everyone kept knowing her as a red useless bunny for nothing because of her simple archery and survivalist skills. She is sitting on the seat while she waits for us to get the study guide for the adventure exam.
Timeskip...Skipping Minor Writing...
We got out after getting the study guide for the exam. Having a passing score means having the adventurer's license. We are walking through the commercial and market district, thinking that we should be cheering Ave up because she was spoiled too soon because of her crying. Everyone is slandering her back while we are still walking through. "Cheer up Ave, I'm sure we'll find a way to make you stronger. You can talk to Heiya after we're done shopping." Aquin tries to encourage Ave to stand strong to resolve her weakness and the limits of her strength.
Heiya: Hey, I'm not the same as hers. I don't even know how I can help improve her skills that way.
Marferd: Me too. Hey Baren, can you help her?
Baren: But I'm just a beginner with just archery skills.
Marferd: What? I thought you start learning and learn more skills later on.
Heiya: Enough, Marferd. Baren's right. We're just novices to learn more skills. We are going to need some help if Ave can't keep up with some elite ranks.
"..." I silently listen to their discussions of how my friends can help Ave achieve her strong ways to proceed up through her limit barrier. I don't know which store we should go to or even pay a visit and order food from the restaurant. But having money like this...I don't know how we can gain more money while we're still in the phase of studying for the exam.
"Hey Y/n, are you thinking here?" Aquin asks. Everyone started looking at me if I have an idea that could help Ave improve her class skills. Based on her ranking, she is a mid-tier rank of novice adventurer.
"..." I'm speechless if I put out a wrong idea that could injure Ave and waste her time for nothing.
"Even you can't have an idea for her? Can't your journal do something in your mind?" Heiya sighs. True, the journal I wrote while I was in training with Heiya back in the village would have helped me, but not for Ave because my current class doesn't match with hers. But with my knowledge that I am from the modern world that I first live in, I should be able to help her because I know some archery skills from other video games. I wish I can reread the gaming wiki that talks about archery and survivalist skills that compare and similar to Ave's current class. "I wish I can trust you, but at least say something to her sooner if you have one. Don't hesitate to try though." Heiya said to me while we try finding the best food vendor or restaurant to buy for Ave since it's about noon until afternoon.
