Your POV
We were just about to head out from the cave, traveling back to Alibreta after all the commissions that we completed for this day. However, it's far from over than what I thought was easy.
"...!" A tyrant monster comes down with a smash, blasting us away with all of his might.
"Agh!" I got blown away with splash damage, having myself to be crashed to the ground, receiving fall damage. I groan with my eyes slightly open, seeing a monstrous tyrant with brown skin, yellow eyes, having to be muscular classed, wearing his dark blue pants, black hair. He looks bigger than the fishmen we faced. "Holy $&*^!" I gasp as he starts running over with his fist swinging downward. "Ah-!" I scream but have myself being carried fast in bride style while I see the smoke bursting out.
"Are you ok!?" Naeva exclaims as she sets me down on the ground with her healing magic.
"That is the reason that a demonic threat lurks behind the darkness if we press on further." Freiyn stands near us while taking cover from the tyrant monster. "That monster is identified as Emirthaus, the heavy gladiator of all mankind, a mutated Fishman."
"Wait, you're saying that he's human before?" I question her. Naeva's healing process is at 68%.
"I do not know, but the movements of his fist could be one of the common human beings. The corruption of the sea bloodline is indeed true. It would be a disgrace as an honorary adventurer to be killed like this." Freiyn explains. I couldn't believe if there is a defeated or about-to-die person who would be transformed into it. Is there a way to change him back? I ask Naeva about it.
"I don't think I can. I'm sorry for him." Naeva answers my question while she's almost done healing.
"It would seem that way. The only way to free his name is to kill him." Freiyn replies. Even we as beginners can't do anything but kill him? That's...! "It would appear that he has called his loyal servants to assist his glory." She points out the fishmen that were summoned by Emirthaus. "Their weaknesses are the same but Emirthaus is stronger than what we acknowledge from. Let us stay vigilant until we have the opportunity to strike."
"But we have Mapin! Can't we all just leave?" Welnet asks us to escape if there is a chance. It's true since our commissions have been completed.
"We can escape since we already are closer to the exit, but we cannot let them trace our steps to Alibreta. That is a disgrace!" Freiyn said to him. It's true because the tyrant monster is ruthless and aggressive, trying to attack anything in his path to get to us. "We shall have to split up for this moment. Welnet and Mapin shall stay out of the area being taken over by this battle. Anyone who is not fighting Emirthaus should hold out any fishmen on the outer circle of his view."
"Yeah, I think I already know why," I said as I planned on having my supporters deal with the army threat before we can defeat Emirthaus. I don't know why I end up letting them know when I need them because I thought it's only for me, Naeva, and Freiyn. Well, at least I can deal with this ourselves. "Another five fishes? Are you kidding me?" I see five fishmen standing in front of Emirthaus while the five press forward towards the three of us.
"I'll look after Welnet and Mapin! You both take care of them!" Naeva stands with Welnet as they both stand back to a safer spot. Freiyn stands aside with me with her bow out, readying her arrow. My sword is already drawn out while facing the five.
"Huh?" I notice when Freiyn tosses out a scrap paper with a note on it.
"I recommend keeping it on your record by the time being when you need it," Freiyn said. I read the note quickly, learning of what she's planning to do as a team.
