Your POV
Several days later after basic sword training and assisting Heiya's adventures...
Soon as I woke up and after breakfast, I start continuing my sword training with Heiya. As a warm-up, we start jogging through the trees and plains to increase my body movement to use a weapon with more proficiency. I can feel my stamina being trained up to a new level...slightly.
Then to my sword training test at the training field. Since I managed to master one-hit sword skills, now I just need to master a combo sword skill. She told me to destroy a test dummy with more than three slices. Three-hit sword skill is needed. I try practicing my own technique but I need a name for that.
Let's see the description I'm making...
Go for a diagonal from my upper right, then arc back diagonal from my lower left. Then finish it with a heavy slice from the same direction as step one. Now the name, let's see if this works.
"...!" I activate my new skill while my blade turns forest yellow. "Wild Nail!" I slash the dummy once, then arc my blade back to the direction where my first attack went. The final slash against the lower part. I succeeded in that attack and mastered it the first time for her. That slashing skill was formed as a claw from a wild animal.
"Not bad for a first-timer." Heiya respects my sword skill. "But there's an alternative with that skill. Now try Wild Blade next." Heiya, of course, shows no mercy to losers who think that they are the strongest. I got insulted because she only respected those who succeeded in every step of my sword training. So I did it with a different moveset.
(A/n: Strings?)
My blade glows blazing orange while trying a three combo slash in a different direction. "Wild Blade!" I finish up my next three-hit sword skill against another test dummy. She allows me to continue learning and practicing combo sword skills until I run out of ideas.
(A/n: Processing...)
The next day, Heiya then teaches me about enhancing my sword skills. She starts with the beginner sword skills such as Falcon Cleave and Sonic Thrust. They are the first step of using them before I enhance it. A first action and then try following up a second hit. She gives me a note that it cost an offensive meter burn. She showed me an example of her sword skill while she uses her training sword. "Azure Falcon: Blade Ace!" She slashes one of the test dummies with the same motive as my Falcon Cleave. Two slices at one sword skill. Right now, I should master it before I could move on. I start using Falcon Cleave first, then try enhancing it to a new second swing of my sword. "Changing its name might be hard, so for beginners just say double or twin at first." That's what she told me before I can test it out.
"Falcon Cleave: ...!" I unleash the first step of my sword skill. A horizontal slash at first. Then... "...Double Blade!" I finished my enhanced beginner sword skill. She looks impressed but she told me that a simple answer that it should have been Double Falcon Cleave. She's very smart indeed. Now she wants me to master any other beginner sword skills like Sonic Thrust next. So I think through of a name, a name with a method that she told me just like before. I think even deeper than what she told me. "Sonic Thrust: Triple Assault!" I spent my meter burn for my Sonic Thrust and enhance it to a better one. However, my blade glows volcanic orange instead of green. It unleashed more light effects than the beginner skill. She allows me to either finish or she gives me a sword skill that she wants me to try. I did everything until I get tired off. It's hard to recover after using each meter burned sword skills. The beginner level is easy, but advanced is hard. She gave me a warning that the more powerful the original skill, the harder and more time than it takes to burn for an expert sword skill level.
