Saline's POV
It's now evening since I felt great having to be with Heiya and the rest of the people who are friendly to me. I did some fun experiences when fishing and then had to rest with camping when planning to cook food. In the past, I was alone when doing research over by the alchemy research facility. No support ever since my family's hope was crippled by the hands of Naze. Years passed while I try to fight the struggle through the pain. I wanted everyone to believe in me, but none of them would ever try to look over my past.
Just when I found the moment, the reason where Y/n tend to stand up in against anyone who has the power just for their selfish ideals. The answer that could give me hope, having to rebuild the ones that were lost and recover my family's hope once again! It felt that my wish has finally come true!
...
We return to the front gates of Alibreta, just so we can take time to rest over by one of the favorites, the tavern. That is when we successfully submitted the daily commissions that we would get daily rewards. Then, we tend to plan a feast over our dining time after they invited Baren. There, we meet up with Dyluc over by the bar table. "Hey, you seemed enjoyed after having justice on your side." Dyluc jokes with me.
"I can tell since the grandmaster tends to bring justice to Saline's father," Heiya replies with small praise. "Anything we missed when we were outside?"
"Nope, just a boring judgment by trial. And get this, Naze and those freak shows have been sentenced to a long life in prison after breaking the law of trust. Betrayal is our ultimate enemy." Dyluc whispers to us.
"Dyluc, I thought that you would be here to serve customers, not joking around with your favorites buddies." Grandmaster Yuvae walks in to join the chat since we were just about to rest while spending money over our meals that Dyluc serves due to the payment of our orders.
"Sorry, sorry. I'll get it done immediately." Dyluc replies when continuing her task.
"Well, who would have thought when we were this lucky to have a hero on our side." Marferd laughs but only meets a fist on his chin by Heiya. "Owie..."
"I do not expect you to come here after having a duty to look over Alibreta." Heiya comments.
"Yet, I am very surprised that we would meet you here for this day." Aquin comments. I felt nervous when having to approach the most legendary heroes that protect Alibreta. I think it's more than just Y/n.
"Why not join us since we still have time for this day?" Yuvae asks as a request for a friendly chat while Dyluc and the other employees are almost done with the tasks that we gave.
"We should all agree since this is our time to take a break. Are you taking a break as well?" Heiya asks.
"Why yes," Yuvae answers her question. "I would also like to take time to rest. And especially since that, I would like to have chat with Saline Murie since I heard that she must be having a hard time with her life for years until now."
"Saline, I think you would have a moment with her since you have your feelings with the hero right." Marferd has his hand patting on my back.
"Yeah, I bet she must have helped you since your father had been betrayed by some greedy teammates." Ave agrees with him. I have no experience, having to stand with Grandmaster Yuvae ever since I was just an ordinary alchemist. I am a simple researcher who studies materials and magic light effects. I am nervous because I never tried speaking to anyone who could be sociable. Unless the pain that I had from my family from the previous years. It has the atmosphere around me going dark.
I stay silent while I tend to tell everyone that I just need a moment to think about. "What? What's wrong with that? I thought that you would be nicer just like the grandmaster would say." Baren said to me.
