"Leo's house? For what?" Piper asked Jason during the tiny sliver of time they had to meet up between their 4th and 6th periods.

"I don't exactly know but he said something about "everyone coming over to be crushed by the great valdezinator?" I think? I kinda zoned out after he started talking about how his little brother kept stealing his wires to make cars." He explained to the girl, standing beside her with a hand on his bag.

Piper rolled her eyes, "Come on sparky, you have to be an active listener," she joked, referring to the time their substitute had to teach the whole class what it was to be an "active listener" because Jason apparently "didn't look interested".

He laughed as Piper swiftly pulled out her English textbook and began speed walking down the halls, Jason right behind her.

"And you have to converse with Annabeth without mentally screaming I love you." He retorted.

"Have you seen her!? She's like a goddess!"

"And Percy looks like a god but you don't see me bringing that up every 5 seconds." Jason replied with an eye roll.

"Oh shut up, Grace." She teased as she finally arrived at her class, waving bye to Jason who continued to walk until he reached his world history class.

"Good afternoon, Valdez family!" I greeted as I stepped into Leo's home with Zoë, Calypso, Rachel, and Annabeth (percy harem👩🏾‍🦯).

Leo's younger brother, Harley, ran up to me, crushing me in a hug.

What a weirdly strong 8 year old.

"Percy!!!" He yelled.

I responded by laughing and patting his head.

"Hi, Ms. Valdez." Calypso greeted quickly before waking away and deeper into the house.

"Hey guys, great to see you!" Leo's mom greeted as Harley got off of me to greet Rachel and Zoë too, "Is she new?" She asked, referring to Annabeth.

"Hey, Ms. V!" I waved, "Yeah, she just moved back here from California."

Leo's mom smiled at Annabeth, "I'm Esperanza Valdez, Welcome to New York! Quick tip, never eat on the subway, feels all- ugh." She informed Annabeth, shivering at the end.

Annabeth smiled back at her, "Thank you. I'm Annabeth Chase."

Leo's mom nodded before walking away and back into the kitchen, "Leo's in the basement, the same way Caly went." She told us- well more Annabeth than us since we already knew.

We nodded before walking through the hallways of the house, coming up to an open door with a long-ish stairwell that led downstairs on the other side.

"If we walk in on them kissing, I'm running."

"Percy! That's my sister!" Zoë scolded as Rachel laughed, Annabeth too, but quieter. I simply shrugged, we all knew there was a chance that's exactly what we could walk in on.

I took the lead, carefully heading down first to hear the sounds of gunshots and yelling.

Specifically the yelling of Michael De Santa.

"Oh sick, you're playing GTA 5?" I asked, speeding up my pace down the stairs.

There on the large flatscreen hanging from The basement wall, was grand theft auto 5, with a maniacal Leo Valdez sat on the couch shooting everyone.

Once he heard my voice, he paused the game and turned around to greet us with a grin.

"Oh hey guys, make yourselves comfortable," he waved, setting his controller on top of his console.
