Almost party time!

-Percy pov -

Zoë was coming over early today to help me set up for the party since they cancelled school because of the snow and I'm really excited about this

It's been FOREVER since I've last hung out with Zoë because she got a week of AFTER school detention along with IN school detention for being late to a bunch of her classes on Monday

I know, REALLY ZOË?!?!

There was a knock on the door and I went to go open it

As soon as I opened the door I felt a huge grin spread across my face, "morning Zoë," I said

She rolled her eyes, though she was smiling, "Good morning, where's Sally? I haven't seen her in forever."

"She went to work early today so she could come home early "

Zoë nodded, "i think we should go get the speakers and games" she said

I agreed with her and walked over to my room without knowing she was following me

I took of my morning time no school shirt and grabbed a random shirt

"Uhhhhh" a voice said

I turned around and saw Zoë, her light bronze colored skin the color of a strawberry
I rolled my eyes, " let's just go"

Me and Zoë we're setting up for the party. It was already 4pm and we were barely done

"Ughhh this is taking too longggg" I groaned

Somebody knocked on the door and I went over to open it

Golden princess curls replaced my vision instead of the usual loose black hair I was so use to seeing today

"Oh, hi annabeth!" I said, not really as happy as I was when Zoë came, "you're early,"

Annabeth nodded sheepishly, "yeah sorry. I was just really excited about this party."

I nodded and stepped to the side, motioning for her to come in

Sitting on the couch with her legs draped across the armrests, Zoë was surfing through Spotify for songs to make a playlist with

"Hey Zo!" I called

Zoë's narrowed eyes landed directly on and she said—yep you guessed it— "as I said; do not call me Zo "

I laughed, Zoë was so adorable when she was mad it was lethal

A small cough came from beside me that made me remember that we weren't alone in the room anymore

"Right. Zoë, this is Annabeth Chase, Annabeth, this is Zoë Nightshade"

Zoë almost unnoticeably looks Annabeth up and down before getting up and walking over to her and shaking her hand

After introducing each other, me Annabeth and Zoë got to working on the finishing touches and by exactly 6pm we were done

And that was when we got out first knock

"C'mon guys! It's almost party time!"
