Long lost friends meet best friends

-Percy pov-

I was shocked

I met Annabeth when I was like, 3, and I forgot all about her

How does such a coincidence like this happen?

"Uh hello, earth to seaweed brain" Annabeth said

I snapped out of my trance and blushed, "sorry," I mumbled

"Is ok, lemme guess, you're surprised ?" Annabeth smirked

I turned even redder and nodded

Annabeth laughed so hard she was almost as red as me

"It's not funny!" I exclaimed, then paused and started laughing , "okay maybe it's a bit funny"

We laughed for while, but then the bell rang, signaling the start of class

"We better hurry up," I said

Together me and annabeth entered our fourth period class

We chose seats at the back row and just sat talking

When the lunch bell rang, I ran out of my class and headed straight for annabeth's class to take her to the cafeteria

She seems like a smart girl, so I'm sure she memorized her way or something but, I wanna introduce her to my friends

"Annabeth!" I called to her

Se turned around, grinned, and waved over to me

"Hey percy!" Annabeth said when I approached her

"Hey! I was just going to lunch, wanna come meet my friends?" I asked her

She shrugged, "sure,"

I linked my arm through hers, " come on! Lah da Dee lah da dum ladadooo, lahda Dee lah da dum ladadoooo!!!!" I sang

Annabeth laughed continuously at me acting like squidward

"Oh, hey percy!" My friend Reyna said, approaching with Thalia

Reyna and Thalia were bestfriends and were always hanging out. Maybe sometimes with the occasional Rachel hang out or hangout with Reyna older sister Hylla and a few times Zoë

"Sup RaRa" I said grinning widely. I haven't seen Reyna in so long

She rolled her eyes at me, "don't call me RaRa. Anyways-"

Reyna's eyes caught a glimpse of annabeth and trailed over to her completely, "Who is this? She looks new," Reyna asked

I slung my arm over annabeth's shoulders, "this is annabeth Chase. It's her first year here, she's a sophomore , just like yours truly "

Reyna shook annabeths hand vigorously, "hi I'm Reyna Avila Ramirez Arellano. But you can call me Reyna. Not RaRa-" she glared pointedly at me, I shrugged, "- not Rey, no nicknames."

"This is Thalia Grace." Reyna said motioning to my cousin

Thalia's eyes were locked on annabeth's the whole time and once Annabeth's eyes saw Thalia, they were locked on her too

"I know you..." Thalia mumbled

"So did I. It's better to just ask," I suggested

Thalia opened her lips like she was about to say something, but instead she quickly changed and asked, "are you the Annabeth Chase?"

Well that was a whole fiasco

Turns out Thalia and annabeth know each other from when Annabeth ran away when she was 7 and stayed with Thalia and her ex boyfriend but still best friend Luke Castellan.

Juniors. They always got something going on

(Let's just change up the ages a bit)

Anyways, me Annabeth, Reyna and Thalia got to lunch and parted ways as I took annabeth to the lunch line and those two went to sit down with their group

After getting food I dragged annabeth to my table and plopped her down in one of the 2 empty seats

"Where's Zo?" I asked (totally forgetting about the new student and only focusing on my best friend )

"She said she got one week of Lunch detention for being late to half of her classes, one of which she totally blames you for by the way, " Beckendorf explained, "and she also said, and I quote, 'and just Incase he does, tell percy I said don't call me Zo' "

My lips twitched with a smile, that sounded like Zoë

"That doesn't matter! Percy, who's your friend?" Silena asked

"Yeah Perce you just not gonna introduce us like that? I know Sally raised you better than that"

I rolled my eyes at them, "whatever. Guys this Annabeth Chase. It's her first day. Annabeth, this is Rachel Elizabeth Dare, Silena Beauregard, Charles Beckendorf, Grover Underwood, Nico di Angelo, And for some reason, Leo Valdez, And Calypso Nightshade"

Annabeth waved at my friends and muttered a pathetic "hi"

If she was gonna her any friends, she was gonna need some help
