tw: trauma, injuries: bruises + cuts, memory loss, blood

late in the night, techno assured phil that he could handle his guest- and he sent phil home, however phil did make techno promise a few things: let her sleep in his bed- be nice- and contact him once she wakes up. techno agreed- mostly just wanting phil to leave so he could sleep.

"this is stupid" he grumbled, laying his guest down on his bed, tucking her in nicely- then going to lay down on the couch, huffing as he realized how tall he was- as his feet stuck off of it.

----

techno awoke to a soft shuffling coming from his room- followed by a heavy thud. he sat up, pushing his feathered blanket to the floor with a grunt- and grabbing his sword. technos footsteps felt menacing, growing closer down the hall and into the bedroom. he pushed the door open, glancing at the bed- empty. he gripped on to his sword. a small whisp caught his senses from the corner of the room, he walked past the bed- peering past it and narrowing his eyes at the girl curled up in the corner. he furrowed his brows, she was shaking- staring at him like a helpless deer in lantern lights. he frowned,

"i'm not going to hurt you..." he stepped closer, "...unless you give me a reason to..." he raised an eyebrow at her- then noticing the loose, bloody bandages on the floor, he huffed. "shit" he muttered, trekking closer, making her jump- "don't move" he leaned down, picking her up-

"ah-!" she yelped, closing her eyes- as if expecting to be thrown across the room. he flinched,

"wh- oh- sorry... your leg" he mumbled, loosening his grip on her, then carrying her out of the room. he could feel how tense she was- but he didn't understand why she was afraid- he hadn't threatened her, or hurt her. techno set her down on the table, fumbling in the drawers for more bandages. "i found you in the woods- knocked out... how did you end up out there...? were you running from someone?" he snorted, unwrapping the bandages. she hesitated, holding tightly on to the table-

"um...i- i don't remember" she mumbled, techno looked up, shit she was pretty- the voices started again. he huffed,

"oh- what do you remember?" he gently lifted her leg up, careful not to hurt her anymore- then gingerly wrapping up the gash with the white cloth. her skin felt warm, and soft. part of him wanting to bury himself in her- he shook that away- tightening the bandage. she winced- "sorry..." he grumbled.

"i don't remember...anything" she frowned,

"oh..." he huffed, "did you hit your head...?" he placed his thumb and pointer on her chin- guiding it upwards and to the side to get a better look at her head-

"i don't know" she mumbled. techno let go, looking back down at her thighs-

"do you remember your name?" he sighed, putting the bandages away.

"...y/n...i think"

"hm. i've read the meaning of that name before- i cant exactly place it- but it was nice" he mumbled.

"oh..." a small smile tugged at her lips, "um- what's your name...?"

"technoblade-" he sighed- "shit- i need to get phil, he'll know what to do with you" he grumbled, walking over to his desk- quickly scribbling down something on a loose piece of parchment- rolling it up, then walking over to the window. y/n followed him with her eyes. he opened it, whistling a tune- y/n furrowed her brows, he was quite curious. he was a hybrid- something like a beast mixed with a human- tall too- and muscular. a snowy owl swiftly drifted from the sky, perching itself on the wood- allowing techno to tie the roll of parchment to its foot- then shooing it off and closing the window.
