Minerva stared at (Y/N), shocked.
Minerva: Hold on. Repeat that, please.
(Y/N): When I was in the Uchiha Clan, I met your twin sister. She was my sensei.
Minerva: ...
(Y/N) stared at her, wondering what was going through her mind.
She stood up and turned around.
Minerva: So... you knew Ayuka then?
(Y/N): <looking down> Yeah. I'm sorry for her death. She was a great sensei and a great person.
Minerva turned around, clutching her necklace with tears in her eyes.
Minerva: She was killed in the Uchiha Clan Massacre, yes. But... what's the deal with you saying that you were a part of the Uchiha Clan? And she was your sensei?
(Y/N): It's a really long story. Do you have time?
She nodded and wiped her tears away.
When he finished the story, Minerva gripped her necklace even tighter.
Minerva: I wasn't a citizen of Konoha yet when Ayuka was here. I remember her telling me how much she wanted to see the very village that started the concept of a "hidden village." She was so excited to see the famous Uchiha Clan as well. Who knew that that excitement would lead to her death. <scoffs> It's funny how life works. One minute you're living your best life and then the next it bites you in the ass and takes everything you love.
She angrily stood up and punched a wall. Everyone in the library looked at her, confused. She didn't pay them any mind.
Minerva: You said you met Itachi and he showed you these memories?
(Y/N) nodded.
Minerva: I wish I was with you that way I could kill that son of a bitch. He took Ayuka from me. My precious sister. My best friend.
She started sobbing and fell to the floor. The library was completely silent.
(Y/N) walked over to her and knelt next to her.
(Y/N): She was the best sensei I ever had. She taught me how to walk up trees, how to use Lightning Style jutsu, and gave me Crimson. I wish she never died either.
Minerva: <crying> If only I had come here with her. I could've protected her. But I was too absorbed in my damn research!
She punched the wall again, causing her hand to bleed.
(Y/N) on instinct hugged her. She hugged him back, sobbing. Everyone in the library just stared at the two.
Minerva: <to (Y/N)> Ayuka looked out for you, trained, and cared for you. So I will do the same.
(Y/N): You can train me?
Minerva: Well, I'm not as skilled in jutsu as Ayuka was, but I still know some. Anyway, you already seem to know a lot so you don't really need training plus you have Kakashi. What I really meant is that if you need anything, come to me. Ayuka gave her life to protect you, and I will do the same. I will not let her sacrifice go in vain.
Tears started to fall from (Y/N)'s eyes as he nodded, smiling.
Minerva wiped her eyes again, took a deep breath, and stood up.
