The game starts

"Kasie do you have something new?" Gibbs asked "Hm...yes, what Jimmy found on the body was drug" she replied, Gibbs started thinking again about what Jack meant, the fact that he couldn't really understand was bothering him "Gibbs?" Kasie said "Hm...ok" he replied and left, Kasie was confused, it seemed like he didn't listen to her, a couple of minutes later Nick and McGee came in "What's wrong with Gibbs?" Kasie asked "Problems in paradise" Nick said "What?" she asked still confused "He means that probably there are problems between Jack and Gibbs and I suppose that Nick wants to die" McGee said laughing a little bit "Oh...ehm why Nick wants to die?" asked Kasie "He asked to Gibbs where was Jack" he replied "Oh c'mon someone had to ask it" Nick said "Nick...seriously maybe this isn't really the moment...anyway why are you two here?" Kasie asked "Gibbs sent us" Nick said rolling his eyes "Oh well, maybe I have to repeat what I said to him so, what Jimmy found on the body was drug" Kasie said.
Ellie was searching for Gibbs because she had some updates about the case, she found him looking at his desk "Ehm...Gibbs" she said, he looked at her "The petty officer's girlfriend said that during the last days a guy kept coming at their house, everytime they argued about the fact that he stole something from him" Ellie said, they went back to the house, there were some weird sounds coming from it, they went in, the guy was there, he moved all the furniture and he was near a hole in the wall, that was the place where the petty officer was hiding the drug.
When they finally solved the case it was late, Gibbs immediately left and started driving to Jack's apartment, he still had what Jack said in his head, maybe he indirectly understood what she meant or maybe not, he had this doubt...there was something that he didn't want to admit...maybe Jack was referring to that thing...when he arrived and parked the car, he walked to the door, it was slightly open, Gibbs had a bad feeling, something was wrong...he opened the door, the apartment was a mess and Jack wasn't there, he looked around, on the wall there was some blood, maybe this wouldn't have happened if he didn't send her at home...after a couple of minutes that he passed looking around, he called the team.
McGee, Ellie and Nick arrived, they started to look around "Why was he here?" asked Nick whispering "I don't know...maybe they programmed a date or something" whispered Ellie "And maybe this isn't a good moment to talk about this" said McGee and the reason why he said it was that Gibbs was walking to them and it was better to avoid a mad Gibbs, especially in that moment, McGee wanted to keep living, Nick probably not since he always talked about Jack and Gibbs even when they were there. They found a phone on the floor, it wasn't Jack's one and probably the owner was the kidnapper, they brought it to Kasie's lab and when they arrived the phone started to ring, Gibbs answered, the man didn't give him time to start to talk "Hi agent Gibbs, welcome to the game, I'm sure you want this woman back alive, I think you like rules...hm...in this game there is only one, you're the only one that can play and if someone else tries to partecipate...well, it won't end up in a good way for your friend...anyway to start the game...you have to trace this call...and...oh, I was forgetting an important thing, pay attention, I can see you so don't try to fool me." the man said and closed the call, they traced the phone, it was in Gibbs house, he left and while driving he was worried...he thought about the night before, he knew he loved her but he didn't want to admit it and now probably he wouldn't have the possibility to say it...
He arrived at his house and went in, no one was there, he noticed a phone on the floor and a couple of minutes later it started ringing, he answered...he didn't hear anything for some minutes "I said that I can see you...but you decided to fool me, I guess you don't really care about this woman..." the man said "I didn't" he said and started thinking about what the man meant "Oh...well, look out of the window" the man said, Gibbs went near the window and looked out, McGee, Ellie and Nick were in the car parked on the other side of the street, he stayed silent and then he heard the sound of a gunshot and then the voice of the man "You better hurry up and find her if you don’t want her to die...if you fool me again...well you know how it will end up, I give you a second possibility" he said and ended the call.
