Chapter 8

Two more days until we can leave the tower. Lately I've been up on the roof playing my guitar and at night me and Gaara would talk. He's a great person he really is it's just that no one will give him a chance. Right now it's about midnight the moon is full. Just then I smell Gaara coming and smiled

"Hey Gaara." I said happily

"Even when my chakra is concealed you know when I'm coming." He said.

"Did you forget?" I asked while looking towards him I sniffed the air. "I can smell ya." I finished. He looked at me and smiled that small smile.

"Right and what do I smell like?" Knowing he was being sarcastic I giggled.

"You smell like cookies." I said in a child like voices

"Ha right umm Chi?"

"What?"

"Do you know what it means if your chest feels tight when your with someone?"he asked looking really confused.

"I don't really know ether but I've been feeling it t-." I was cut on by something warm on my lips. It was Gaara! Gaara is kissing me. I sat in surprise but quickly closed my eyes and kissed back. It didn't last long we pulled away after a minute. We looked at each other in shock.

"I-I I'm sorry I didn't mean-"

"It's ok." I said. Trying to calm him down. Just then we heard a sneeze.

"TenTen be quiet."

"Shut Neji she can hear us."

"Ow your on my foot Temari."

"Your elbow is in my face Kanuro."

"TENTEN! NEJI! LEE! GET YOUR ASSES OUT HERE RIGHT NOW!" I yelled to the near by sheds

"KANKURO! TEMARI!" Gaara yelled.

"RUN!" They all screamed in unison. Gaara and I quickly cought them though. I managed to catch TenTen, Neji, and Lee Gaara was able to catch his siblings.

"When the hell did you three get back and why where you spying?" I asked all on them.

"Well you see we uh."Kankuro started. Not long after they all started shouting and me having sensitive hearing put my hand over my ears.

"Shut up!" TenTen shouted realizing they were being incredibly loud the looked over at me and shut up.

"Now answer the questions." I said rather harshly.

"Ok your team got here twenty minutes ago and they asked us if you were here and if you were. So we new you came to the roof a lot so we brought them up here and we saw you and Gaara talking so we hid behind the shed and then Gaara umm he uh he...kissed you." Kanuro explained. While Temari and TenTen started fangirling.

"It was so KAWAI!!" The two exclaimed. While I once again covered my ears. I quickly released them and went to my room.

(Time skip)

We finally get to go home today after the preliminaries. I didn't really pay attention until it was TenTen's turn she had to fight Temari. Teeny-chan lost though. Not long after Neji fought against Hinata and Neji won.

Not paying attention I got hit upside the head by Neji.

"You up dumb ass." He said I quickly jumped down to see I had to fight the skinny boy from the forest. I guess his name was Jai.

"Well well well we meet again." He said and got in a fighting stance he did some hand signs and created a barrier.

"Chi!!" I heard Gai sensei yell. I was I shock why. Did he create this barrier. Just then he pulled out a scroll a demon scroll. This scroll was used to make demons show there true form in my case it would make me get more wolf traits. This is bad he began to get closer I felt pure pain take over as I let out a scream.

"You can't use that scroll we need to get her out of there now."

"Chi fight it don't let him get you." Naruto yelled trying to break the barrier along with a few other people.

"Why she's just another monster a person that can't feel anything she can only kill she's a beast a freak." Jai said.

I let out a blood curtailing scream it hurts so badly imagine being burned alive and being stabbed at the same time. I screamed in pain as I felt a wolf tail and ears grow in.

(Gaara's POV)

All I could hear was painful screams and I couldn't do anything but watch her. Her hair started to turn white and she now had wolf ears and a tail. I couldn't hold it back anymore.

"Chi!" I yelled I felt a pit in my stomach she was in pain just the I sensed a large chakra increase . Chi's eye began to glow despite the pain she stood up and lunged at him a to his surprise she some how managed to attack him he wrapped the scroll around her body she screamed in agony and bit down on his throat he screamed in pain and she tore some flesh off of his neck he began to choke on his own blood. Chi wasn't finished with him though she stuck her bare hand though his chest. I sat there in shock I had no idea she held that inside of her. Jai's body fell limp the barrier subsided as chi pulled her had out and fell to the floor screaming in pain. The scroll was still wrapped around her body she seemed to be having trouble taking it off I jumped down from the stands I made my way over to her took out a kuni and cut the scroll off her body she fell limp and began coughing.

" Because of using a forbidden scroll Jai was disqualified the winner is Chi Mikage." The Procter announced. Chi looked at me questioningly.

"Were is he? Where's Jai?" She asked then realizing she was covered in blood tears streamed down her face as soon as she saw his teammates crying holding Jai close to them she stood up and ran out of the building.

(Chi's POV)

I ran from the forest I ran all the way home crying I haven't killed for almost 2 years. I ran home and looked in the mirror I was covered in blood my hair was white it had wolf ears and a tail. I let more tears escape I stripped myself down and got in the shower. Once I was cleaned I dried myself off and walked to my room I changed my clothes and walked through town. I smelled TenTen up ahead she was sweating.

"Chi Chi!" She screamed I looked up she was panicking.

"It's Lee he had to fight Gaara and now he's in really bad condition come on." We raced to the hospital. Neji broke the news to me because Gai sensei was crying to hard. I walked over to Gai sensei and hugged him. He eventually stopped crying. A nurse came out not long after.

"He's stable but his muscles were ripped apart it's gonna take a while for him to recover." She said and walked away. All of us stayed at the hospital for a while. Eventually we all went home. It was late so I began walking home. Just as I was walking I heard Sakura's voice.

"Yeah she went all wolf on that poor kid but she looked like she was in a lot of pain." I decide to go to see who she was talking to I ran until I saw her and I quickly hid in a tree above her head. It was Sauske how the hell did she mange that.

"She's really scary she's almost killed me once I was terrified." What no I haven't what a bitch I've never lied a finger on her.

"You know you shouldn't lie about things that serious they could come true I know for a fact that I have never touched you. You just love making my life a living hell so let's fight if you think your up to it." I said ready to kill her. Her and Sauske looked up.

"I-I I'm-."

"That's what I thought." I said while walking away just the something pulled my tail. I turned to see Sauske looking extremely confused.

"How the hell did this happen?" He asked in a harsh voice.

" Ask her." I said pointing at Sakura. I quickly left and went home.
