Chapter 30

(Chi's pov)

What's going on? Where am I? Why is it so dark? Why am I in so much pain?...And what's that noise?! I began to open my eyes it was really bright I fully opened my eyes to see Gaara sitting next to me with his eyes closed Kankuro was in the doorway of the bathroom and the sound of vomiting?

"Are you sure your okay Ami you did this yesterday too?" Kankuro said to Ami.

"Ah" I let out a groan as I sat up. Gaara's eyes shot open Kankuro quickly turned Ami peeked her head out of the bathroom.

"Chi! Ah your finally awake!" Ami cheered and ran to my side. I cracked a smile and nodded.

"Where are we?" I asked as I pulled Ami, Gaara, and Kankuro into a hug. They pulled away and looked at me with worry.

"You've been out for three days." Kankuro said.

"What happened?" I asked curiously. Ami then told the story in great detail.

"So dad was alive...and he still wanted me dead...how about that I bet mom wanted the same...." I said with tears brimming my eyes.

"No...that's not true Chi those pictures you got from our old house. One of them had a letter to you." Aim said handing me the picture of our mother I took it and began reading out loud."

'Dear Chi I know you think I hate you but that wasn't true I never hated you. Your my baby my Chi. No I didn't name you that because of my death I named you that because of the the strong Mikage blood you have in you. I love you baby you and Ami. I hope you grow up and have a wonderful life.

"Mom loved me?" I asked as tears poured from eyes. Aim was also crying I felt Gaara pull me into a hug as Kankuro did the same for Ami. I softly cried in to Gaara's chest for a while until I heard Ami gagging she quickly stood up and ran to the bathroom.

"Ami?" I asked as she started throwing up.

"Oh not again." Kankuro said and ran in with her.

"Is she okay?" I asked.

"I'm not sure she's been throwing up every morning from what I understand." Gaara said and let go of me suddenly realization hit me.

"Gaara I think she..." I started just then my old team walked in.

"Hi Chi it's good to see you!" TenTen said and hugged me.

"Gaara thank you for taking care of our beloved team mate!" Lee and Gai said and hugged Gaara snot and tears were smeared on Gaara's face as he has a disgusted look on his face. I laughed and Neji walked over.

"Hey Neji." I said.

"Hey how are you doing?" He asked.

"I'm good my chest hurts that's about it." I said he just nodded.

"Hey can you do a favor for me? Will you use your Byakugan and look at Ami? If there's anything keep quiet and tell me." I said quietly he looked at me oddly but nodded.

"Let go of me!" Gaara shouted I turned and sighed.

"Let go now!" I said in a motherly tone. Lee and Gai Sensei looked terrified. Just then aim walked out with Kankuro I turned and watched as Neji activated his Byakugan. He looked at her closely and gasped. He looked at me.

"Chi there's another heartbeat." He whispered in my ear my eyes widened.

"Everyone please leave the room for a moment I need to talk to Ami it's very important." I said as everyone began shuffling out of the room.

"What is it sis?" Ami asked while sitting down.

"Ami are you not telling me something?" I asked.

"Hmm uh there's nothing to hide she said oh my gosh she doesn't even know yet.

"Ami I had Neji look at you with the Byakugan because I was worried and he..."I trailed off.

"What did he see?" She questioned.

"Ami your pregnant!" She looked at me wide eyed and put a hand to her stomach.

"B-but I can't be I'm getting married in two weeks." Ami said and began pacing.

"Ami it's fine look your not gonna have a belly in two weeks it'll take longer."

"No it can't be right tell Neji to get in here." She said I stood up and walked to the door. I opened it a crack and peeked my head out.

"Neji come here real quick." I said he groaned and followed me in.

"Neji do the thing again it has to be a mistake." Ami begged.

"Fine." Neji said and did it once more.

"There's no mistake." He said and sat down.

"Okay you need to tell Kankuro." I said. She nodded and placed her head in her hands.

"Kankuro get your ass in here!" I shouted. He quickly came in with a slightly scared look.

"Tell him. Neji get out please thank you." I said Ami took a deep breath.

"Kankuro I uh I'm uhh I'm p-pregnant..." Ami stuttered he looked at her wide eyed he then sat next to her and hugged her.

"Wow I'm gonna be a father." He said and picked her up and spun her around one time.

"Yeah I can't believe it I'm actually pregnant." Ami said.

"When did you find out?"

"One minute ago." She answered.

"Can we tell them?" I asked they both nodded and smiled.

"You can come back in!" I hollered. Once everyone came back in and was quite Ami and Kankuro stood up.

"Okay well we have unexpected news." Ami started as Kankuro took her hand.

"Well we're having a baby!" They said together. Everyone began cheering I laughed and smile there was around of congratulations.

"I'm happy for you two." I said and was glomped into a hug.

"Thank you." Ami said I smiled and Gaara took my hand. This is a real surprise my sister is having a baby...
