chapter 21

"Hey it was an accident." Gaara said shaking flour out of his hair. I let out a laugh. He looked at me and chuckled.

"Okay no more." I said laughing.

"Right."

"Okay I'll finish this then I'll go change if you want to shower Ami will show you were the bathroom is." I said. He just chuckled and watched me finish cooking the curry and the cookies.

"Okay so let's go get cleaned up." I said.

"You know you don't look bad with white." He said jokingly.

"Well I'm just that awesome." I said as I grabbed his hand and led him to the living room where Ami and Kankuro stared at us and burst out laughing.

"Ok the bathroom is the first door on the right towels are in the blue hamper when your done put it in the red one." I instructed he nodded and walked down the hall.

"Okay you two the food is done it just needs to cool down. I'm gonna go shower in my room." I said they nodded and Ami turned on the tv. I sighed and walked to my room and gently closed the door I walked to my bed stand and placed my hair clip down I then grabbed my towel and into the bathroom. I quickly stripped off my clothes and turned on the water. I stepped and let the water rinse my skin I then washed my hair, face, and body. I quickly dried myself and put on my clothes. I put on my favorite baggy t-shirt and dark blue shorts that fell to my knees. I walked into the living room to see Gaara in the same shirt as me and black sweatpants.

"You two made a huge mess in there." Kankuro said turning to me. I walked over and stood behind him I rung out my hair over his head.

"Hey what was that for?" He shouted as Gaara chuckled.

"For being my favorite idiot. Ami you have a weird taste in men." I said.

"I don't know but hey let's go eat I'm starving." She said I nodded and walked to the kitchen I grabbed a tray and four bowls full of curry and a plate of cookies. I then grabbed another tray and placed four cups of tea on it I picked up both trays and walked to the living room.

"Here guys." I said and placed down the trays on the table. I lazily sat down next to Gaara while everyone grabbed their food. I simply flopped over sideways at first I landed on the couch but I then fell to the floor.

"Ow I'm just gonna stay on the floor I'm tired goodnight." I said muffled.

"Okay well can I have yours?" Ami asked.

"Don't care not hungry." I said. I sat there for about ten minutes before someone stood up.

"Are you really going to stay there?" Kankuro asked I just nodded.

"I haven't slept in a while." I said.

"Come on." I heard Gaara said I shook my head. Just then I felt someone pick me up bridal style.I opened my eyes to see Gaara I closed my eyes and snuggled up into his chest as I slowly drifted off.

~dream~

The world looked red black and white. I was in the leaf village there was screaming and fire.

"Hello?" I called out. I watched as an older man walked out once he caught sight of me he panicked.

"No No please spare me." He said.

"I'm not going to-." I cut my self off looking behind me there was a pile of bodies all of my friends and on the top.

"A-Ami...Gaara." the was blood everywhere I looked down and saw I was covered in it my hair was white I transformed.

"No!" I yelled and let out a scream.

~reality~

I quickly shot up I was breathing heavily. I felt arms wrap around me.

"Are you alright?" I heard GAARA! I looked around and saw that I was in my room.

"I-I'm okay. Why am I in my room I said I would sleep on the couch." I said looking at him.

"Well you were tired so I brought you in here but when I put you on the bed but you wouldn't let go." He said.

"Oh sorry." I said.

"What happened your crying?" He said quickly grabbed my shoulder.

"It was just a bad dream." I said and turned to him his face was only an inch away from mine. I got out of his grip and looked at him. He was sleepy and I have to admit he looked adorable.

"I'll leave." He said as he was about to stand up. I quickly grabbed his hand to stop him.

"Can you stay just this time?" I asked cringing at how pathetic I sounded. He nodded and sat down he then pulled me into his chesti snuggled up and drifted off into sleep.

The next time I woke up it was seven thirty. I looked over at Gaara he looked so peaceful. I smiled and slowly realised myself from his grip and walked to the kitchen and make pancakes. By the time that was done it was nine so I walked to my room to wake Gaara up as I opened the door I quickly covered my eyes.

"Uh sorry! Breakfast is done." I said quickly I heard him laughing.

"I'm in my boxers I'm not naked." He chuckled. I uncovered my eyes and turned away and sighed he was attractive as hell jeez.

"Well breakfasts is done." I said and walked down the hall to Ami's room and knocked on the door.

"Kankuro you better not have molested my sister or I will cut off your genitals and mail them to Temari." I shouted I heard Ami and Gaara laughing from behind me. I quickly opened the door only to see Kankuro fully clothed as was Ami.

"Why would you say that?" Kankuro shouted and I laughed.

"Come on time for breakfast." I said and walked to the kitchen. Right as I got to the living room I saw Gaara.

"Chi I need to speak with you about a few thing it's important." He said....
