chapter 17

"How was it?" Ami asked.

"It went great how was your date?"

"It was perfect I had so much fun he took me out to eat then saw a movie." She said happily.

"That's nice well I'm hella tired I'm going to bed." I said she simply nodded. I quickly changed and went to sleep.

~the next day~

We were on our way to Gaara's office. Its time for us to leave time for me to say goodbye. Thought as I knocked on the door.

"Enter." I heard his sweet deep voice say. As I opened the door Ami grabbed my arm.

"Hi Gaara we need the scrolls." I said sadly. His eyes widened I saw sadness in his eyes. He nodded and shufled through his desk. He eventually found them and sighed.

"Kankuro." He said. Just the Kankuro opened the door. Ami turned and faced him. He looked really upset.

"Lets walk these two to the gates." Gaara said and handed me the scrolls. I gently took them from his hand and put it in my bag. I watched as Kankuro took Ami's hand and we began walking. I felt Gaara slide his hand into mine. I looked up at him He just looked forward until we got to the gate. We stopped and turned towards each other.

"I'm gonna miss." I said quietly.

"Me too."

"I'll see if I can come by and visit soon." I said he nodded and leaned in and kissed my lips. I felt him put something in my pocket. He pulled away and leaned his forehead to mine.

"You talk to much." He said and gave me one more long kiss and pulled away. I let go and looked over to Ami just as Kankuro gave her a sweet and passionate kiss I quickly pulled out my camera and clicked the button. They pulled away and Ami walked to me.

"Goodbye Gaara....Kankuro." I said.

"Bye Kankuro. Bye Gaara." Ami said as I created two platforms of ice and stepped on one Ami then stepped on the other and we took off. I turned my head and waved one last time and left for the village.

We eventually got to the village at sunset. Ami took off while I went to the office and dropped off the scrolls.

"So anything interesting happen to you and Ami?" Tsunade asked as if knowing I shook my head.

"Mhmm your dismissed." She said and I took off on my way out to eat. I passed the ramen shop and heard some familiar speak.

"Hey Chi how was your mission?" I turned to see Sakura and Ami.

"Oh hey didn't Ami tell you?" I asked.

"She told me she got a boyfriend but she wouldn't tell me about to you she said it's a big surprise." She said.

"Oh okay I'll tell you if we can find a more private place." I said she quickly nodded and we walked to mine and Ami's house. We then went to the living room and sat down.

"Okay now what is it?" She said excitedly.

"Okay well you know the new Kazekage?" She nodded.

"Well it's Gaara he asked me to be his girlfriend." I said with a huge blush on my face. She squealed in delight and smiled at me.

"And you said?"

"I said yes."

"I can't be live it you dating the Kazekage." She said I just rubbed the back of my neck and blushed.

"Is that were this came from?" She asked touching the clip in my hair. I just nodded and stood up.

"Its getting late I'm going to bed."big said and ran to my room. I laied down and drifted off.

"Chi he's back he's back!" Ami shouted to wake me up.

"Who's back?" I said sleepily.

"Naruto!" She shouted I shot out of bed and ran to my mirror I quickly brushed my hair and put my clip in. I then ran out of the house. I ran down the streets and back again until I saw Sakura pummeling him.

"Yo take it easy on him." I said and walked over. She then dropped him and stepped aside.

"Hey Naruto." I said and held out a hand.

"Do I know you?" I sighed it has been a while though so I can't get mad at him. I thought just as Ami ran up.

"Hey." She said beauties eyes widened.

"Chi Ami!" He shouted and hugged us in the wrong order.

"How ya been?" I asked.

"Training hard." He said we the spent the rest of the day with him.

~the next day~

It was four in the morning and Ami and I where at the gates wishing Naruto luck on his first mission just as Shizuna ran up.

"Lady Tsunade the Kazekage's been captured by the akautsuki!" She said in a panic I felt my heart drop.

"No." I whispered to myself.

"I'm sending team seven to go help that Chi, Ami your going with as well!" She shouted. Not long after we took off.

"Will you be okay?" Sakura asked.

"I'm fine." I said as a tear ran down my face." We continued until it got dark but I refused to sleep. How can I sleep knowing they have Gaara.
