chapter 19

We jumped through the trees I could sense we were getting closer and to them.

"Were here!" I shouted and stopped at a giant boulder with a seal tag on it.

"So are we!" I turned to see Gai Sensei and the rest of my team.

"Good we're gonna need you guys." I said walking over to TenTen. She gave me a concerned look as if knowing.

"All right Lee, Neji, Gai, and Tenten we need you to find the seals and peel them off at the same time." Kakashi ordered. The all nodded and took off.

"Ready Sakura?" Kakashi asked as he got ready to take off the tag.

"Ready!" She said and glanced at me I nodded.

"Now!" Kakashi said and pulled the tag while Sakura launched herself colliding her fist with the boulder making it crumble.

"Gaara!" I yelled as we all ran in the cave and there a man with blond hair was sitting on Gaara's stomach and the other man stood next to him.

"Get off of him!" Naruto and I said in unison. Gaara wasn't moving at all he wasn't breathing I felt tears well up in my eyes.

"G-Gaara..." I whispered. Just then the blond one created a giant bird. The bird swallowed Gaara.

"No! Give him back!" I screamed as the bird began flying away. Naruto, Kakashi, and I ran after them. Soon after he started throwing spider like creatures at use I started dogging them but they started exploding. I let out a scream as one exploded next to me this didn't help my sense of hearing. Pieces of debris went flying every where I felt stone pierce my shoulder. I just brushed it off and continued running.

We came to a stop in the for set next to a clearing and small battle broke out between Naruto, Kakashi, and I.

(Time skip)

"Naruto put him down." Sakura said and started healing him.

"So?" Naruto asked. Sakura shook her head. I broke out sobbing I gently grabbed his head and placed it in my lap.

"No! Don't leave me!" I screamed. I felt my hair clip fall releasing my hair.

"I don't get it why is Chi so upset?" Kakashi whispered.

"Because Gaara and her are boyfriend and girlfriend." She said quitely. I just sobbed harder my tears fell onto his face.

"Please don't leave me...I love you." I said quietly.

"I can try something?" Lady Chio spoke. I didn't bother to move its impossible he's gone. I continued sobbing as the wind blew my hair as sand shinobi entered the clearing. Just then I felt a hand move my hair and clip it I quickly opened my eyes.

"I told you your eyes where beautiful."

"Gaara!" I yelled and hugged him.

"You scared me I was so scared." I sobbed into his chest.

"I'm sorry." He said and sat up I looked up and felt his lips connect with mine.

"What?! What does she have that I don't." I heard Matsuri yell.

"Leave her alone she's been awake for a week not only that she's been strategizing and thinking of plans and she fought to the point that she had almost no chakra!" Sakura defended. I quickly let go of Gaara and moved back a bit. I cringed as I pulled out the stone that was sticking out of my shoulder. While everyone else talked I then grabbed my shoulder.

"Lady Chio is gone." Sakura said my eyes widened. I gently stood up and walked over to her body.

"Thank you." I said.
