Nanami didn't expect to see her at the grocery store the next day.
It was like she was everywhere.
But she caught sight of him before he could slip away.
"Nanami!"
She waved and he turned all the way.
"I've never seen you in casual clothes before, you look nice"
She complimented him, and he found himself struggling to find a reason to be upset at her for bothering his peaceful Saturday morning.
She was wearing a solid F/C T-shirt and jeans. It looked nice on her rather than the ill-fitted Work clothes she wore like a costume.
He looked down, noticing the stroller and the baby sitting in it.
"You have a child?"
"What? No, the landlord couldn't find a babysitter in time so I offered to look after her"
She crouched, tickling the baby's face with a smile and she cooed.
"Her names Sandra isn't she adorable"
Nanami didn't associate with children much.
"Very"
He turned back to the sushi at hand. Y/N straightened peering into the see-through fridge.
"Wanna grab some coffee"

The child gurgled as if accusing him of such a silly thing.
"I find them a lot to handle, I don't care much for children"
He said setting down his drink. She smiled, matching the baby's large grin.
"But what if the person you married wanted kids, what then?"

He sighed warily, but that only made her laugh.
