I slowly opened my eyes to two little shrine spirits with pointy teeth and red eyes, one of them was holding a centipede in front of me.

"Hey, human."

"You wanna eat a centipede?"

"Uh... Humans don't eat centipedes" I say, trying to stay calm.

I hear footsteps, I turn my head to find none other than Mizuki walking in, "Morning, Miss (Y/n)" He says, "I wish to thank you for saving me yesterday at your school."

I sit up and look at the snake, my first thought of him when I saw him in the anime was 'He's so cute!', and I don't mean the 'I want him as a boyfriend' cute. He, in a way, reminded me of my brother, thus, why I would never want him as a husband!

"Oh, hey. You're the snake who kidnapped me."

"hehe, Im Mizuki, the familiar here at the Yonomori shrine." He says bowing, "I hope to get along with you as long as we shall live."

"Oh what a joyous day! Mizuki, Japan's greatest familiar, has taken a bride!"

Taken is right, I don't belong here!!!

The two shrine spirits start throwing rice everywhere, "Let the wedding comence!"

"Hold on!" I yell.

"These two are the spirits of this shrine." Mizuki says.

"I figured."

"In her place behind you, is the god of this shrine. Lady Yonomori. She also wishes me the best in my marriage" Mizuki holds a hand out to me, "Come, Miss (Y/n)."

"Hang on a second! You're confused, I'm not getting married, especially not at 16!" I say.

Mizuki goes into happy chibi mode, "But the mark on your wrist is kind of like our engagement ring..."

"I would like to go home!" I say standing up

"Really... Then why don't you try to go home, if you can that is." Mizuki says with a very mischievous and sly look on his face that slightly creaped me out, and the fact that the little spirits were laughing creeped me out even more.

Well, he is a snake, I guess freaking people out is his specialty.

I walk out of the shrine and jump down the steps, yes I am fully aware of what happened to Nanami at this part, but I still gotta try!

I started to walk the path, I noticed that everything around me had an eerie green tint. Soon, half an hour, hour and a half, now two hours had passed! I wasn't getting anywhere! So, I climbed up a tree and tried to look around but I couldn't get high enough. I lost my footing and fell backwards, out of the tree, I landed flat on my arm, earning a large yelp of pain from me. I sit up, my arm had lots if scratches all over it, some of which were bleeding, but I would just have to toughen up! So I stood up and continued to walk, by the time I actually found someplace, it was dark, and that someplace happened to be the same place I started from....... Back to square one...

I walk up to Mizuki who was holding a lantern, "welcome back Miss (y/n)."

I sigh and sit down, I was exhausted, "I told you that you weren't able to go home."
