Chapter 8: the gods become targets & the abilities of a flora and fauna God!

Your P.O.V

All around me there were flowers, gorgeous flowers of all kinds. Roses, tulips, blue bonnets, poppies, hydrangeas, there was even a wisteria tree. The trees seemed more alive and the grass was so green and lush. It was so pretty....... But I feel like I'm forgetting something.....

I hear someone clear their throat, I turn around to find none other than Tomoe starring at me with pure curiosity. He picks up my phone when I suddenly realized.... Alex had put a Kamisama Kiss picture as my wallpaper for a prank. Instantly, I run towards Tomoe and attempt to grab my phone but he holds it out of my reach, "Tomoe! Give it! Now! That is not yours!" I say reaching for it. "Nope." He says and holds it above my head. Damn him for being so tall! Seriously, he's like half a head taller than me!

"Give it back!"

"Try to take it back."

"Tomoe!"

I continually jump and try to grab my phone but he proceeds to hold it just out of my reach, this was seriously starting to annoy me. I put all of my strength into one last jump, I push off the ground and reach as high as I could, my fingers brushed against the bottom but I wasn't able to grasp it. Since I was so focused on grabbing my phone, I didn't land right and ended up ramming into Tomoe, which caused him to fall backwards, resulting in me landing on top of him and him dropping my phone...... Is anyone else seeing the domino sequence? I quickly straddle him and pin down his arms so he couldn't get away, "Ha! Pinned ya!" I say in victory.

He then took me by surprise and flipped me over so that he was on top of me and pinned my arms down. I thrashed and attempted to escape but unfortunately, as I would hate to admit it, he was stronger than me. I eventually give up and he smirks at me in victory, "Alright, alright you win. Now let me go." I say.

Rather than doing what I asked, he slightly tightened his grip on my wrists, "No, I quite like this position." He says. It took me a moment to process what he said....

...... My hands were pinned above my head, he basically sat on my legs so I couldn't kick, and his face was right above mine. My eyes widened as something clicked in my mind......

'How long do you think he will be able to keep up the goody goody act?'

'Honestly I don't think he'll last very long.. You are quite addicting.'

'He will do the same thing to you... Eventually.'

....'I'm scared'.......

I look at Tomoe... His eyes.... They're normal.... Mischievous.... He leans in, I could feel his breath on my face. I feel heat rising to my cheeks and I can tell I've turned a bit pink, Tomoe suddenly puts his face in the crook of my neck and now I've turned full on scarlet. But something was off....... Tomoe.... He was.............................
