The god catches a cold!!

Your P.O.V

Second day I was finally back to normal size, I decided to keep my hair long, but I wasn't sure if it would be temporary or not. Tomoe kept his hair long to, but I knew that it was only for a little while.

Me and Tomoe were outside, he had finished the cleaning outside so I insisted that he took a break. I stood on the porch in a white kimono with blue blossoms on it and a gold wrap around the waist, my feet were bare, my ears and tail showed, and I allowed my hair to flow freely in the wind. My job at the shrine was always making sure the gardens flowers were bright and beautiful, and making sure that they were bustling with wildlife.

My (e/c) and silver eyes sparkled as I looked at all the colorful flowers, I looked to the trees to spy a little blue bird. I whistled and called it over, it flew towards me and I held out my hand as a little perch, I smiled and lightly petted its small head with my finger. An orange bird flew past me and landed on Tomoe's head, I giggled as it hopped between his ears and tilted it's head at me. Tomoe had on the ultimate troll face.

Tomoe's P.O.V

I looked at (y/n) as she petted the small blue bird perched on her hand. She looked so.... Cute.... One would think she was a perfect Angel but I knew better. But just for this one moment, she was an angel.

I was so captivated by her appearance I didn't notice the orange bird fly past her until it landed on my head. I felt it's little feet hop around on top of my head and between my ears, (y/n) giggled at the sight and my 'not amused' face turned into a slight smirk.

I spot Nanami at the corner of my eye smiling ear to ear at the two of us. She laughed and walked over to (y/n) to pet the little bird, "Good to know we still get some visitors." she says.

Your P.O.V

I smiled at Nanami, for some reason her face was red. That when I remembered....

I allowed the bird to hop onto her head before putting a hand to her forehead, "Nanami, you're burning up. I think that storm really did a number on you."

"No! I'm fine really!" She says, "Besides, my attendance record is on thin ice, if I miss another day I'll have to repeat the year!"

Nanami grabbed her school bag and started trudging towards the door, but she did NOT look good. I jump in front of her and put my hand out to stop her, "Nanami, your well being is more important!" I say firmly, "I'll tell the teacher that you're sick, ok?"

"Alright.. Take some notes for me will ya?"

I ended up going to school, Nanami stayed at the shrine with Tomoe taking care of her.

I was wearing the school uniform, my hair was still long, reaching my thighs, but I had it in pigtails so it only reached my waist. (Long story short, I lost a bet with Tomoe a while ago... Don't ask.) My eye patch covered my silver eye, and I had a few flowers in my left pigtail. (Again, bet with Tomoe.)

I stood in front of my classroom door, not really wanting to go in due to my appearance. That's when I got the most brilliant idea in my head, I could play the sweet and innocent card!... Hell no.... Screw that, I'm just going in.

I slightly open the door and hear Isobe (The dude I called blondy) starting to take bids on whether or not me and Nanami were gonna show up, starting at 300 yen.

"Isobe, you get pretty excited when it comes to Momozono, you sure you don't actually like her?" Isobe's friend asks.

"Are you kidding me? This is Momozono we're talking about, with her rice and pickled plum lunches! Making fun of her is all she's good for!" He starts laughing his ass off, making me annoyed.
