The sea king's captive?!

I felt a hand grab me and drag me underwater, I thrashed around, kicking and punching until I opened my eyes to see Alex!!

She smiled like an idiot and so did I, she squeezed me so tight I had to push her off and swim up to get air. Her head bobbed up next to mine, "(Y/N)!!!!" She screams before nearly killing me with another death hug.

I was so happy to see her, but then I remembered, "Wait. YOU CAN'T BE HERE. THIS IS THE PART WHERE AMI GETS PULLED UNDER-"

Alex suddenly screamed and went back under water. I instantly started panicking, I took a deep breath and dove under after her. I could see my friend being pulled deeper at a rapid rate, I swam as fast as I possibly could, deeper and deeper. I reached out my hand, Alex desperately kicked and reached out her hand. I grabbed on and held tight, pulling as hard as I could. My lungs were burning, but there was no way I was leaving Alex. With one final tug she was floating above me and we were both swimming towards the surface.

That's when everything got worse, I felt something grab my ankle, and the next thing I know Alex is getting farther and farther away. She turned to look at me, her eyes widened and I heard her scream echo in the water as she disappeared from my sight. Black spots clouded my vision, my lungs felt like they were gonna burst, I didn't have the energy to fight back. Then..... Nothing....

Alex's P.O.V

I swam above the water, taking in deep gulps of air, and I instantly started swimming towards the beach. I crawled onto the sand, coughing, but I stood up and started running towards Tomoe, Mizuki, and Nanami.

"HELP!" I yelled.

They looked at me, "It's..... (Y/n)! S-she's.... Drowning!" I say in between breaths.

Their eyes widened, and they didn't even bother asking who I was. Tomoe leaped from his lounge chair and ran towards the water. I was about to run in with him but I noticed my hands disappearing, NO! Why did Mikage have to realize I'm gone NOW?!

My feet disappeared. Then my legs and arms, my upper torso. I felt tears streaming down my face as I felt myself leave the beach.

Your P.O.V

I slowly opened my eyes, I could feel myself floating in water, but I wasn't drifting downwards towards the bottom of the ocean, I looked around to realize. I could breathe! And I was in the sea king's palace! I pushed my hair back because it was floating everywhere and was in my face. Apparently I was in some sort of water bubble, I swam forward a little and attempted to push my way out, but it was like the bubble was made of glass AND there were shackles on my wrists and my ankles! I pulled at the chains, yanking at them in a desperate attempt to make them brake. But the metal bit into my skin and soon I felt stinging pain where the cuffs were and I could see red liquid mixing with the water... Blood. I ignored the pain and pulled even harder, yanking, thrashing, then I yelped feeling the cold unforgiving metal bite into my skin. I was close to tears as I bit my tongue. That was when the culprit himself showed up. The sea king.

"Ok, tell me, who are you and why you floated down into my castle?" He asks.

"Long story short, wind god not like me, god voodoo, bada bing, bada boom, I almost drowned, and BAM I'm here." I say. "And the name is (Y/n). Remember it, cause I'm not saying it again. Now, would you mind RELEASING ME FROM THESE DAMN CHAINS. SERIOUSLY, I FEEL LIKE MY HANDS AND FEET ARE GONNA BE CUT OFF."

The sea king and the guards were leaning back in chibi mode as I yelled at them.

The sea king covered his ears/fins, tick mark appearing on his head, "That can be arranged unless you SHUT. UP."

I quickly shut my mouth, wanting to keep all my limbs, the sea king sighs (Completed with a little mushroom bubble) "Get her out of those sha-" He suddenly stops mid-sentence.

A sly grin spreads over his face, "Why come into the water now Tomoe?"

Oh no... This might be a slight problem....

"To retrieve something valuable of course." He says, looking at me. "I'll be back, be sure to give her 'special' treatment."

Welp, I'm screwed aren't I?

The fish guards gave a very sly and very happy smile that sent chills down my spine. As the sea king closed the doors, my screams echoed throughout the castle.

Jeeze, some flora and fauna god I am. I had burns all along my arms and legs, why you may ask? Oh nothing much, just that those tridents the fish guards were holding apparently had a zillion volts of lighting in them.

Forget Tomoe, I need to get out of here...... hmm..... Seaweed is a plant isn't it??

I stared hard at the seaweed growing around the pillars, trying to focus, but I got electrocuted again. Once the pain stopped, I death glared the guards, "OK, NOW I'm mad!" I yell.

The seaweed suddenly lashed out and wrapped around one of the guards, he screamed as he was thrown against a pillar then out cold. The second guard got tied up by my seaweed, then was hovering before me.

"Un chain me. And let me out." I say.

The guard smiles, "Nope."

"That's where you don't have a choice. Do it, NOW."

"No, you're not gonna knock me unconscious because then there's no one to release you."

I grit my teeth angrily, then without thinking, I opened my mouth and, "ROOOOOOOAAAAAAARRRRRR." something like an actual lions roar escaped from my mouth.

The guard turned white and started shaking. I put him down, smirking, and he instantly popped my little bubble. I fell to the ground. Then he took off the chains before jumping back, grabbing his trident, and literally trembling while pointing it at me.

I smiled wickedly as I walked closer to him, "Boo."

The guard ran away screaming, I love my life right now.
