Chapter 7: Dance 3! I mean... Day 3!

Your P.O.V

For the rest of the night I stayed awake... Sort of... I would doze off every 30 minutes or so, but I would quickly snap back to reality when evil Tomoe's face popped into my head again... At this rate, I'll have gone insane by next week! One time I managed to fall asleep for a good 3 hours so that energized me a bit. The sun was now shining, I would say it was about 6:30 in the morning, my eyes started to droop again, so I just closed my eyes for a few seconds and nearly totally fell asleep when a certain someone's ranting woke me back up... You know her, you love her, she's super annoying and dense at times but she's there when you need her and she's super stubborn... NANAMI!!!

"Talk about a strange dream, my home was seized and my dad ran away but then this man gave up his own home for me, and I met this girl named (Y/n) on the way, but when we got there it turned out to be some run down shrine with little spirits and a fox demon named Tomoe or whatever who kept saying the whole thing was nonsense and me and (y/n) were gods and had to go to some 'world over yonder' to find him and we ended up being chased by a yokai which led to (y/n) kissing Tomoe in order to make him her familiar and I had to the same afterwards! hehehe! how funny..."

Seriously, how can she say all that in one breath?!... And deja vu anyone?

Onikiri and Kotesku were kneeling in front of us starring at Nanami, "You did that last time to." I say.

"Where are we?" Nanami asks.

"At the shrine, Tomoe brought all this stuff in order to make this place more livable."

"But why? That seems a bit out of character for him to do all this."

The spirits started bringing up the horrid memory of yesterday, "You both successfully made master Tomoe your familiar!"

"It is the familiar's job to take care of the God. Or in this case, gods!"

Nanami's face suddenly burned bright red as she recalled yesterday, "But then... That also means..." Nanami looks at me and I sighed.

"Yes I did it to... I had to in order to LIVE.... The sad part is he was my first kiss! That stupid fox demon!"

"So... Uh... Where is Tomoe?"

"Uh, Nanami?"

"What?"

"He's been right next to us this whole time... Quite gloomily might I add."

Both of us look and sure enough, there was Tomoe, with both a scary and gloomy aura... He honestly looks like he regrets ever being born... Which I'm sure he does right now... He slightly turns his head, making Nanami hide behind me in fear... Sure, use the friend as the sacrifice! Save yourself! Tomoe then completely looked at us with a bright smile.

"Well, good morning Nanami, (Y/n)."

Nanami looks at him in surprise while I just look plain amused.

"Your bed chambers were in a state of neglect so I took the liberty of seeing to your accommodations while you both slept."

"Tomoe... Have you like, completely forgotten about last night for me? I'm pretty sure I got a total of 4 hours of sleep." I point out.

But he completely ignores me and continues speaking, "I have prepared everything I could imagine. Though it was against my will, starting today I am your familiar. I, Tomoe, shall obey your orders without hesitation regardless of what they may be. If you are in need of anything in the future, I humbly ask that you come directly to me with those needs."

Nanami moves out from behind me and sits in front of Tomoe, "I'm surprised. I thought you would be angry about being turned into our familiar."
