AN: More cuteness! dead ahead! XD and before we start I have one question.... Who here is exited about the second season?! *raises hand then starts jumping up and down* I'M SO HAPPY THEY FINALLY MAD THE SECOND SEASON!!!!! Now onto the cuteness!!!

"(Y/n)!"

You turn around to see the familiar face of a certain tangu, "Oh, hey Kurama. What's up?" You ask.

"That fox isn't around is he?"

"Tomoe? No he stayed back at the shrine because Nanami was sick."

Kurama smiles, "Tell me something, do you know what tomorrow is?"

"Uh... Saturday?"

"And.."

"The school Valent-.... Valentine's day and the Valentine's dance.

"Correct my dear!"

Kurama pulls out a red rose from behind him and hands it to you, "Would you do me the honor of accompanying me to the dance?"

Your eyes widen as you looked at the rose in his hand, "Um... I-I don't know.." You stutter.

"Will you at least think about it?"

"Y-yeah.. I'll think about it."

Kurama places the thornless rose behind your ear before running off. You sighed, you would go with Kurama, but only if no one else asked you. You walk out of the school and start heading for the shrine, "(Y/n)!" This time, it was Mizuki who called for you.

He came out from the shrine and hands you a red heart shaped box, "They're chocolates." He says nervously rubbing the back of his neck.

You smile at him, "Thanks Mizuki!" you say.

"You wouldn't by any chance... Want to maybe go out tomorrow? You know, like.... On a date?"

Your smile slightly falters, "I don't know Mizuki." You say.

"She is not going anywhere with you!" Tomoe suddenly comes out of the shrine glarring menacingly at Mizuki.

"Tomoe-chan you're no fun!" Mizuki whines.

"Get back to work."

Mizuki pouts but does as he's told, you look at Tomoe, "Tomoe, you didn't have to be so harsh." you say.

"Yes, I did. That snake should know better... Where did that rose come from?" he points to the rose behind your ear.

"Uh.. Kurama, asked me to the dance-"

"You're not going." Tomoe suddenly snatches the rose from behind your ear and tosses it on the ground.

"Tomoe!" you yell.

You suddenly see something in his eyes that you never thought you'd see, "Tomoe? Are you.... Jealous?" you ask.

Tomoe goes red, "No of course not!! What would give you that impression?! What would I be jealous of?!"

"Of, Kurama... And him taking me to the dance."

"I am by no means jealous of that Tangu!!" Tomoe starts to rant on and on.

You giggle knowingly, who would've thought the almighty Lord Tomoe was jealous? You stand on your toes and give him a peck on the cheek, he turns scarlet and holds his cheek where you kissed him. He looks at you surprised but he quickly smiles, "(Y/n)? Would you like to go to the dance with me?" he asks.

You smile and give him a hug, "of course." you say.

Tomoe pulls back and does the most shocking thing, he kissed you....

And let's just say a certain Tengu and Familiar were,watching from a nearby tree.... And they were NOT happy.

The one time you needed that stupid fox and he wasn't around!... Alright this wasn't the one time you needed him, you've needed him several times but he was never there. But this time is different, this time it was life or death, and it was most likely you'd end in death.

The people chasing you were your school bullies,  2 boys and 3 girls, it was actually the boys that were chasing you. The girls didn't want to 'ruin their new blouse or shoes', the pricks.

You continued to run, you turned left, right, right, left, right, left.... Wrong.. Dead end...

The boys grabbed you from behind, you kicked and thrashed, your screams muffled by the hand covering your mouth. They took you to the park nearby, to the dock that led to the deep end of the lake. The girls smiled cruelly, the guys tied your hands and feet and tied a cement block to your feet. You bite whoever's hand was over your mouth, earning you a good slap, but you ignored the pain and screamed as loud as you possibly could, "TOMOE!!!" you were pushed into the lake. You heard the cement block get tossed in right after you, you get your head above water and take a deep breath before getting pulled down. You thrashed and tried to loosen the ropes but they were tied to tightly and to well, your lungs started to burn, spots started to cloud your vision, you go limp and you had given up all hope.

You suddenly feel the ropes break, a hand grabs you and pulls you up, arms wrap around your torso and you finally get to the surface... But you aren't breathing.... Yet somehow you are aware of what's happening, you can feel the water, the cold nip of the wind, the arms of the person who save you.... Who did those arms belong to?

You're pulled to shore and gently set down on the ground. You feel someone's lips against yours and air fills your lungs, then pressure on your chest, "Come on (y/n)! Breath Dammit!!" you knew that voice...

You start to cough up water and taking deep breaths, anything to get some air in your lungs. Once you catch your breath you sit up, you look to your rescuer.... It was Tomoe.... You look at him and smile, "Tomoe-" he hugs you, cutting you off.

"Don't you ever scare me like that again." he says, "I can't lose you to."

At first you don't do anything, just sit there in shock, then you slowly wrap your arms around him in response.

"I can't lose you... I love you." you hear him mumble.

You turned a bit pink, you pulled back and look at him in surprise.... "You.. Do?" you ask.

Tomoe leans forward and gently presses his lips to yours. It was sweet and simple, and had you completely off guard...
