Human- Osamu Dazai ✔

Over the brige, Under the bullets

Zero tapped his fingers against his thigh as Dazai drove. "What's the situation again?"  They were on a mission.

"Three missing children, the suspect is an ability user." Dazai responded, trying to keep his eyes on the road.

"That's all we got? Damn." He sighed and pulled his hair into a ponytail. "We should have brought Kunikida or Atsuhi to help us."

Dazai shook his head, "I trust your abilities. We'll be fine by ourselves."

"You say you trust my abilities, but do you trust me,Dazai?" Zero asked, tilting his head.

"Guess."

"I say you're not sure whether you trust me or not. You haven't predicted that far yet. You trust what my abilities can do, and you trust that you can stop them at anytime, but when it comes to me you're weary of what I might do under certain conditions. Am I right?"

Dazai smiled,"Correct again. You're really good at guessing games, Alastor."

"I've told you to stop calling me that hundreds of times, Osamu."

Dazai glanced at Zero,"You know I do it to piss you o-"

"Dazai stop!" Zero suddenly yelled, grabbing the wheel and swerving into a ditch. "There was someone in the middle of the road with a gun. We don't have the upper hand, we were expected. "

"Oh so this is what is gonna make my day bad." Dazai groaned before bullets started coming through the back window.

"Get down." Zero pulled Dazai down quickly, "Curiosity. Ok we should be ok now. There's a force field around us." He took a few breathes and looked to Dazai. There was no way he was going to die with Dazai.

"You stay in here, I got this." Zero opened the car door and faced the gun wielder. He was a younger guy with red hair and dark eyes. His face was full of rage and determination. Zero let the force field fall before quickly flicking his wrist, sending the gun over to him. "Got the weapon."

Dazai grinned and got out of the car, pointing his own gun at the man. "Where are the children?"

The man didn't speak, he only placed his palm against the ground and locked eyes with Dazai.

Dazai jumped back and dodged a large metal spike that shot up from the ground. "Metal manipulation ability. You hear that Zero!?"

Zero was already running towards him, "Got it!" He used force fields to walk on the air and dodge the attacks and get closer to his opponent. "Piece of shit." He gritted his teeth before dropping down on the man and wrapping his legs around his throat, "Where. Are. The. Kids?" He demanded.

Dazai ran over and touched the man,"No Longer Human."

The man choked, "Shut up, bitch."

"Tell us. Now." Zero squeezed his legs harder.

"No! Goddamn whore!" He kept yelling insults.

Zeros left eye twitched,"Dazai I'm gonna kill him."

"Don't." Dazai sighed. He didn't want to deal with that much paperwork today.

"I will! I really will." Zero slapped the guy,"You here that red riding hood? I'll kill ya in a very unfriendly way. I know 76 different torture methods and I've even created some of my own. I'd like to have a cute little test subject."

"And he's lost it. Zero. Get down." Dazai spoke in an annoyed tone.

Zero did what he said and dropped down from the man. "Fine."

"Good boy." He smiled.

"...I hate you sometimes." Zero sighed.

The man was about to dart off when Dazai pulled him closer and placed a gun to his forehead, "Answer the question. Kids, where are they?"

The man tensed,"In the house up there." He pointed to a small abandoned house down the street.

"Whats your name?" Dazai asked. His gaze was dark, Zero didn't like it.

"Yuuji." He said nervously.

Zero walked off and grabbed some rope from the trunk,"Dazai knock him out. Police are on their way."

"I wasn't done talking!" Dazai twirled around to face Zero.

"Do it!" Zero snapped.

He sighed and hit Yuuji on the side of the head with the gun,"Night Night. "

Zero walked over and secured the man with the rope and tied him to a light pole. "There. Let's go get those kids. Any predictions, weather man?"

"From here on it'll go smoothly- wait...weather man?" Dazai looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes. Now come on." Zero ran towards the house.

Just as Dazai said, the rest of the mission went perfectly. The children were rescued and taken back to their parents and Yuuji was arrested for kidnapping and attempted murder.

The car was towed out of the ditch and Dazai and Zero were off to the agency again.

"I'd say that was fun!" Zero said as Dazai drove.

"That is your definition of fun?" The bandaged man tilted his head.

"Yeah it is. A successful mission that got my adrenaline running. I'd say that's very fun. Anyway, could we stop for ice cream on the way back?"

"Nope." Dazai said.

"Wha-please? I'll pay!" Zero pouted.

Dazai shook his head," Ah-ah. No. You called me a name during the mission, so no ice cream for you. This is punishment. "

"Whatever, Weather Man." He muttered.
