"Miss Song! Good afternoon!" I greeted her with a bow when I reached them. From the corner of my eye, I saw the other woman's mouth open.

"G-good afternoon Y/N!" Miss Song looked at our group with a nervous giggle. "Fancy meeting you guys here."

"Good afternoon Ma'am!" Amber took a bow. "We just wanted to greet you when we saw you-"

"You look very familiar." I cut off Amber as I turned to the other woman. Her long dark hair framed her sharp face but her shy eyes refused to make contact with mine.

"Ohh. You recognised me." She pressed her red lips together.

"Of course I did, we lived together for ten years." I stepped towards her. She had grown into a beautiful woman.

"Are you mad at me like mom and dad?" She asked as her face fell.

"Do you think that lowly of me?" I placed my hand on the table and leaned forward. Her brown eyes still held the pain of the past eight years.

Hope sprang up in her eyes and a smile touch her lips. Meeting my gaze, she finally let herself see me.

"You've grown up quite a bit." Her cheeks pushed up as she smiled. Her soft hands held my cheeks.

She stood up, still taller than me especially in her delicate heels with floral designs imposed on them.

"So, Uhm. What's your name?" I asked awkwardly after I hugged her.

"Alexandra. Alexandra Rose." She brushed back my baby hair.

"So, can I still call you Alex?" I asked with a nervous smile.

"Of course." She placed a kiss on my cheek.

"Yay!" My fist were rolled up in little balls as I pumped them up in excitement.

"You're still as cute as ever." She laughed.

"We will give you two some time together." Miss Song stood up and moved along with Amber and Taemin following.

"Thank you, Victoria." She gestured me to sit down next to her.

"So, how have you been?" I asked her.

"Good now. Had a hard time in the beginning but I just graduated from film school this summer." She pushed the plate of donuts on the table towards me. "You like the chocolate one, right?"

I grinned and nodded, biting into it."Film school, huh? I am also thinking of applying for film."

"That's right! You're graduating high school this year! Well, if you have any questions, you will have your sister to ask now." She laughed.

"Yes. Yes, I will. I missed you a lot."

"I missed you too. Eight years is a long time." She sighed.

"Can I ask you what actually happened? Mom and dad never really told me anything. All I heard were the rumours." I leaned onto the table.

"Right... When I told them that I was Trans, they denied it, told me it was a phase. They asked me to go to conversion therapy if I didn't want to go to hell." She stared at the window as she spoke. "I said no, obviously." She paused. Her high pitched voice shook with anger.

I held her warm hand. My fingers brushing over the many rings she wore. The golden one on her thumb had a red stone, a birthday gift I had given her ten years ago.

"They asked me to get out of the house if I wasn't going to repent." She closed her eyes and lowered her voice. "And well, they threw me out with a bunch of my stuff. I went to Victoria's place, she was living with her roommates at the time."

"Ohh." I squeezed her hands as tear drops stained her pink cheeks.

"She let me stay there for a while. I found a job and saved enough to move to the city. I lived with a few others while I worked." She wiped away her tears. "I knew I wanted to go to university so I did, got a student loan on my head now though." She chuckled. "But at least, I was able to do that."

"I still have your whole movie collection." I continued the light mood. "I watch 'The Craft' all the time with my friends."

"I taught you well." She chuckled. "What about you? I didn't even get to say goodbye to you when I had to leave."

"Well, when I got back from Summer camp, mom and dad told me you ran away from home. I didn't really buy it because well, I knew you, you had no reason to." I sighed. "Later I heard rumours around school and church that you were gay or trans, and that mom and dad had kicked you out. That sounded more likely, you were always flamboyant, my favourite kind." I smiled. "You were so obsessed with Nancy."

"You were way more obsessed with her than I ever was." She laughed.

"I was." I joined her. "Wait, give me your number, I can't let you go this time."

"Yes, but please don't tell mom and dad." She took my phone and entered her number.

"Of course not. I will never put you in danger." I nodded.

"So, how do I look as a girl?" She giggled as she returned my phone.

"Beautiful. Suits you way better." I said as I pinch her cheeks. "The most beautiful woman I have ever seen."

"I know, right? Alexander is died, baby. It's time for Alexandra to shine." She joked.

"She came with her own spotlight." I continued the line of thought.

How do y'all like that twist?

Hugs and kisses from Cheonsa.
