*ATHULE*
My head is pounding. I feel like shit! Thabo dropped me off at my place around 11pm last night. With how tired I am I’d really like to call in sick or something but I can't. I don’t know where I stand with him after last night, I think I can sadly say that he and I are fuckbuddies. Yes I enjoyed myself last night but not as much as I would have wanted too, he mostly spent his time screwing Lihle more than me, it was like he was using her to get back at me or something or maybe I’m seeing things. I don’t know.
My phone rings as i’m about to leave the house, it's my father
“hey daddy” I say trying to sound happy because deep down I’m hurt by last night’s events. I think I saw a side of him I don’t think I’m interested in meeting again
“Hallo prinses hoe gaan dit?” (Hello Princess, how are you?) he responds
“I’m good daddy and how are you?” I ask him
“Ek is goed dankie prinses. Ek en jou ma het net klaargemaak, ons neem 'n taxi daarheen” (i'm good thank you princess. Your mother and i just finished up, we'll taking a taxi to there) he says reminding me of him coming, I’d even forgotten about that
“Ok daddy. sien jou as jy hier kom” (See you when you get here) I say to him
“Bye princess” he says
“ Bye daddy” I say and end the call before walking out to catch a taxi to work.I walk to the receptionist and greet her
“What do you want?” she asks and I chukle
“Listen, which doctor has a free slot today? My father kind of needs medical attention” I say and she looks at me and shakes her head
“You do know that you were supposed to book an appointment right?” she asks and I smile at her, she huffs and types on her computer “You owe me lunch for this” she says
“Of course. Thank you” I say
“Dr Ndlovu has a slot at 13:00pm” she says and I frown
“is there no other doctor besides him?” I ask her and she looks and then shakes her head no
“So do I book him or?” she asks
“He’ll do it's fine. Thanks Tash” I say and she smiles
“Whatever. I’ll text you what I want for lunch” she says and I chuckle walking away to do my rounds.I keep in touch with my parents in between and they tell me that they just got to pta in my apartment. I go to my supervisor’s office, I need to serve my notice anyway. I knock and she tells me to come in.
“Athule Hi” she says and I smile
“Hi Mrs Rhimes, how are you?” I ask and she gestures that I can sit down
“I’m good Miss Jones and yourself?” she asks
“I’m also good thank you. I’ve come to drop this” I say to her and she frowns taking the letter from me
“What's this?” she asks
“This is my letter serving notice. I’ll be resigning in a month and a half” I say and she looks at me shocked
“When did you reach this decision? Are you not happy here?” she asks “is your job affecting your school work?” she asks with so much concern and I nod
“it sort of is but I’ve also found a better paying job and it's better than what I do here as it is closer to what I’m studying for” I explain and she sighs closing the letter
“I understand. And there's no way of convincing you to stay? You one of our best stuff, the patients love you here” she says and I smile “Not to mention how well you work with all the doctors around here” she points out and I look down shamely
“Yeah and I’ll miss everyone but it's about time hey” I say and she nods
“I guess you have a right to grow and venture out to what you really want to do. Well all the best with your next job” she says and I smile and stand up, she comes around the table and she hugs me tightly “We will miss you around here with that smile of yours and your craziness” she says breaking the hug
“Don’t be so quick to say your goodbyes, you still have me here for a month and 2 weeks” I say and she chuckles
“Well that is true. Good luck ok?” she says and I smile
“thank you Mrs Rhimes, also my father will be coming for his monthly check up today” I say and she chuckles
“That man is every bit like you” she says shaking her head and I laugh
“The apple doesn’t fall far f-“ I’m cut off by my phone ringing
“You can go ahead and answer it, I have to get back to work” she says and I nod walking out taking my phone out and it's Thabo.
I let out a sigh before answering it
“Hey” I say
“Ouch. How are you?” he asks
“fine. You?” I ask him
“Am I missing something? Come out I’m in the parking lot” he says, I think of saying no but then he and I need to talk
“Fine” I say and then walk out dropping the call. I spot his car and then walk over to it.
His car smells as good as he does, today he’s wearing chino’s, a long sleeve t-shirt rolled up at the sleeves reveling his tattoo and the first two buttons on his shirt are unbuttoned, he’s wearing shades and he looks so fucking yummy! He goes in for a hug but I don’t meet him halfway
“Ok? What am I missing?” he asks taking off his sunnies
“Really? What the hell was that?” I ask him
“Athule I don’t understand” he says looking confused
I let out a sigh “You punished me last night. You used the fact that you know I like you against me. I don’t think I can continue with our agreement if this is what it's going to be like.” I say and he takes my hands into his
“Athule come on, don’t be like this. Why would I do something that petty?” he asks
“Why wouldn’t you? I mean you have every reason to after what happened. How else do you explain denying me an orgasm, focusing more on her than me? What do you call that?”
He lets out a breath and lets go of my hands “But you orgasmed multiple times didn’t you?” he asks and I chuckle “Ok maybe those were the wrong choice of words. It was not intentional, next time I’ll do better” he says
“Bold of you to even assume there’ll be a next time. I’m not your sperm dish Thabo, lord knows what diseases she carried” I say and he chuckles
“She got tested for everything before she came to my place last night Athule. Your health means everything to me” he says and I raise an eyebrow “Let me make it up to you”
.MUSA
Malibongwe came to see me on my practice. Actually to fetch me so that we can go to the hospital together. I didn't come with my car today because I gave it to my wife since hers is booked for service today.
"Can you hurry up? I need to have my lunch" he rushes me and I chuckle
" Luck you who will have a lunch today, I don't think I'll. I have crazy bookings so I might eat when I get home" I pack my things and get up
" I wouldn't have been able to juggle everything the way you do, you really are working hard"
" My wife and kids deserve a soft life, there's no compromise on that" he replies proudly." Speaking of children,I saw your side chick.."
" I don't have side chick Mal, just say you saw the mother of my child".I chuckle, wow. Never thought I would see this day but yeah.
" My bad, yes she came to me and started ranting about how you are unfair to her and all those things"..." She's having withdrawal symptoms she will be fine"
" Musa, I wanted to ask. Yesterday when she was busy annoying I kinda threw the paternity test issue on her face and she was unsettled. I think you should do it"" Do you think I am that stupid? I did it the moment Nosi was born. There was no way I was going to take that risk. If you remember it was one of the reasons why I hid the baby issue from my wife all this time just so that I can be sure. Besides, Nosi is my photocopy"..
He sighs and we get up leaving to his car
" You can never be too sure with everything lately. At least you had tests done so it's cool. Now you need to get her to behave"" Like I said, she will get hang of things as time goes by"
" You need to be careful Musa, not everyone is into no strings attached fucking like Athule. Some girls really becomes attached after sex. It's worsd with you two had a baby."" Look I'll try to talk to her in a calm manner and make her understand that the only thing left between us is co-parenting. If we can have a healthy relationship with that then we'll be cool"
" Alright then. Speaking about Athule, where is she?"
" I don't know, I haven't seen her in a while"
" Sounds like you are over her"
" She gave the best sex but her pussy isn't gold,so ain't gonna chase after her. I have a wife to take care of"
" That's my man. I looked at the catalogue for the holidays and I will send you few places I think we should consider"We get inside the car and he starts it going to the hospital while I go through my phone looking at the places and prizes
*IMITHANDAZO*
Luyanda looked around for me and I raise my hand waving it and she spot me. She walks up to me smiling. I make a mental note to ask her about the recipe she's using to keep her body this sexy.
Hai bo, you wouldn't say that she carries 3 children and the last born is 6 months with that body. We share a tight hug before getting back to our chairs.
" Look at you mfazi, glowing and yellow. Bakudlisa kwa Ndlovu?" She passes the compliment sitting down
" Just the usual, I could say the same thing about you. You look amazing babe" I return the compliment" Thank you hunny. So how have you been? Gosh it's been so long"
" Yeah, it has. Well I'm okay can't really complain. It's been tough but now there's some light"
" I'm glad. You deserve it my love. Whatever you are doing, keep it up. Look at you flourishing"
I smile and hold my stomach " well, it's the little one inside me"She pops her eyes out and smile so wide holding my hands " oh my goodness, you..? Wow congratulations Imi and welcome to the journey. It's bumpy, roughly but definitely enjoyable. I'm so happy for you, kunini!"
" Say that again, you know I was seriously convinced I have a problem, especially after Musa made a baby outside.."
" You are definitely strong than me. I heard the baby came to visit?"
" Yeah for few hours. She's so beautiful and innocent"
" I don't think I would survive. I would definitely drown the baby or slaughter the father"We laugh and our drinks arrive
" She's innocent in this. Yes she is a result of an affair but she didn't choose that situation. It would be so unfair of me to punish her because of her parents fault. Besides , babies have this thing marn, they are soft, pure."" Argh ncooh, look at you blushing. And now you are going to be holding yours soon"
" I can't wait..".
