18- Creep

Christmas was six months ago and it was the best time ever for the couple. In the past six months Beyoncé and Michelle had sold their old homes and were enjoying living together with the kids. Brielle and Kaleb were thriving and had just finished school the week before Memorial Day. Brielle got straight As and Kaleb came close; he had As in every subject but Math he had a B. They had also been attending therapy sessions because they needed to be able to process the abandonment issues they had and realize that Michelle and Beyoncé would never leave them. Overall everyone was doing well. Even Poppy and Turbo were getting along. Beyoncé's relationship with Tina was great. They talked weekly and she talked to the kids almost everyday.

Kelly had Bella in April and she was now two months old. Titan loved his little sister and was already very protective of her. The baby's full name is Bella Giselle Weatherspoon.

The couple had sought out a wedding planner but life had gotten in the way of their plans. Sometimes that's how it happens but they were now ready to get started. They had been discussing what they wanted and they knew they wanted a destination wedding. Maybe they'd go back to Curacao or some other beautiful place. Michelle was on her computer at home researching places where they could possibly get married. She wanted it to be a place that was LGBTQ+ friendly as well as sort of a family destination too. Having two kids was interesting but she loved it. Leaving the computer she remembered the kids wanted tacos for dinner and they were missing half of the ingredients. She decided to stop at the store before swinging by Aunt Charlene's to get the kids. Michelle made her way to the Food Lion not too far from Aunt Charlene where she walked around the store picking up all the things she needed for dinner. She got Beyoncé some fresh California rolls for her lunch the next day. As she waited she felt as if someone was watching her. She turned around and to her utter surprise Amour was looking dead at her.

"Michelle, hey."

"Hey, how are you?" She tried to say as cordially as she could.

"I'm okay could be better. You?"

"I'm great, getting married next year." She flashed the ring Beyoncé had given her on Valentine's Day. "She is wonderful."

"Mommy I found my cookies." A little boy said walking up to Amour. He was brown skin with big doe like eyes and wild curly hair. He was a handsome little guy.

"Michelle, this is Aiden. Aiden say hi to Michelle."

"Oh hi, your the pretty lady in Mommy's picture. She said she was mean to you. Are you her friend now?"

"I don't know Aiden. We will have to see."

"Can I call you?"

"Why would you do that?"

"Because I need to apologize to you the right way. Michelle you still have my heart. It should be me you're getting ready to marry."

"What?" Michelle looked flabbergasted. She really just wanted to leave.

"I'm serious Chelly, I know I did some foul sh- stuff but I still love you."

"Amour, I'm over you please leave this in the past. I'm finally happy and you're trying to ruin it. If we see each other we'll speak but that's about it. I don't want you. I have a wonderful fiance who treats me like the queen I am and I wouldn't trade her for you anyday. So I'm sorry I had to say this in front of your son but we cannot be friends. There's too much hurt attached to you and I can't do that. I can forgive you because God says forgive but I could never be anything more to you."

As soon as she finished her spiel, the man making Beyoncé's sushi called out the order. Michelle walked away seething in anger at the audacity of Amour. She had Michelle all the way fucked up. As she drove to Auntie's house she had to get herself together she didn't want her kids to see her anger. She parked her car and went into the house calling for her Ma and the kids. They were in the backyard running through the sprinkler. Even Aunt Charlene was enjoying getting wet on this hot summer day. Michelle's mood immediately changed seeing her Ma and kids having so much fun together but there was still some bitter anger there but not enough to where the kids would notice.
