I was sitting on my bed, typing away on my computer as I worked on the next chapter of my book. Like a lot of wrestlers, I wanted to write my story about my wrestling journey. Right now, I was working on the chapter about my run in the WWE.

While I was typing, I heard the bedroom door open. I looked up to see my boyfriend, Kyle, peaking his head in.

"How's everything going, baby?" Kyle asked.

"It's going well," I replied, taking a break from typing to crack my fingers. "Currently, working on my time in WWE."

Kyle nodded with a big smile on his face. WWE was some of the best years of my life. Kyle walked over and sat beside me on the bed and looked over my shoulder.

"WrestleMania 32?" Kyle asked.

"That's where I got injured and took almost a full year off," I said.

"Oh yeah," Kyle said. "I do remember that."

I chuckled a little bit before going back to typing. It wasn't long before I felt a finger poke my arm. I looked over to see Kyle looking at me with a goofy grin on his face.

"Did you just poke me?" I asked.

"Maybe," Kyle said. "Did it feel something like this?"

Kyle poked me again.

"Why are you poking me?" I asked him.

"Because you've been working all day since you got up this morning," Kyle said in a cute baby voice.

I looked at the lock on my computer to see that it was already 4pm.

"Give me 5 more minutes to finish this part and then I'm all yours," I said.

"Fine," Kyle said.

I went back to typing, but not even a minute later I felt another poke on my arm. I side-eyed Kyle to see him with that goofy grin still on his face.

"I'm not going to stop poking you until you give me attention," Kyle said.

I sighed and closed my computer. I knew that he wasn't doing it to be a jerk. Kyle just wanted to make sure I didn't overwork myself.

"Alright," I said. "Let's go make dinner and watch a movie."

"Really?" Kyle asked, happily.

"I'm all yours for the rest of the night," I replied with a smile.

Kyle pulled me towards him and kissed me sweetly. I smiled and kissed him back before pulling away and getting out of bed.

The rest of the night was filled with laughter and love. I was so thankful to have a man that kept me grounded to reality when I get lost in my work.
